Amazing staff and best doctor ever
Long wait, repetitive on second appointment, staff rude and short tempered. Hope I never have to go back.
No 7 minute, insurance company dictated office visit. He analyzes your situation with a classic question-answer interaction. Then his years of professional training and experience kick in to give you a thoughtful, if brusque, evaluation of your situation. No candy coating. An amazing change from doctors where "productivity" (money made) is the measure of success. Quite a pleasant change from most of today's pill pushing, part swapping medical road runners.
Dr. Varraux is an excellent pulmonologist. I have worked with him professionally and am also a patient. He and his staff are awesome and I feel very lucky and blessed to have him care for me.
Walked out after an hour and a half wait with my 91 year old mother. The waiting room was totally empty never saw another patient and when We asked the staff about it we were told “youre not the only patients” rude and would never go back!!! Never saw the doctor
The doctor himself is a nice person, what I am reviewing is employee life at this place. This place is not a good place to work at, at all! The hours are ridiculous. You work when the doctor decides he wants to work, they offer "full time" but you'll only get part time hours if the doctor isn't in office neither are you If you have nothing left over to do. They also are very cheap. They will offer you one thing in your interview and recant the pay when offered the position. Just to show how cheap, even the microwave is broken in this place! the employees have been asking for some time for a new one and haven't gotten one yet. Direct deposit is a thing of the past here as well... only live checks are handed out. Not to mention your hours are not set at all when you do work. Usually patients begin at 1 pm through 5pm but again, the doctor shows up late and that pushes everything back hours. (which is why the patients wait 1-2 hrs to see him) You also are expected to chart prep from 9 AM until patients arrive/ doctor arrives and it is a lot of work the doctor likes to have done for not enough pay. Again CHEAP! It's a small office, not enough room, a lot expected of you for minimum wage. No background checks or drug screenings required, no schooling needed to be a nurse for this place as well. They don't even check otherwise. I'd say look the other way. Not to mention you do not get lunch breaks, you're expected to work thru lunch hour because the doctor will be so behind with patients you get no time to eat. It's not a good work place period.
Can't speak highly enough about Dr Varreaux. He has helped my husband who suffers from asthma and poor lung function for many years. When his downtown office moved to Ocoee we dropped him for Drs closer to us. Huge mistake! We couldn't get back there fast enough and would go anywhere to see him. He doesn't just care about husbands lung function but his blood pressure, his diet his generally health. He treats and knows so much more than just lung issues. Basically he's the bomb
Excellent medical mind!
The absolute worst! Filthy office, unprofessional staff and more than a 2 hour wait for a first visit before being brought back to yet another room to sit for 20 minutes before this joker came in to see me. If you've ever seen the show, Columbo, with Peter Falk, the disheveled detective...that is who this "doctor" reminded me of! His manner of speech, especially for a medical professional, was a joke. Steer clear!
He is a Wonderful Doctor. The reason anyone may wait when they arrive is only because Dr Varraux spends quality time with each of his patients. He doesn’t rush you during your appointment and explains everything to you. He always answers all of your questions. I don’t mind waiting if I have to because I know he will spend time with me...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
