Dr Teixeira has a great bedside manner. I was immediately comfortable with him the first time we met at my original consultation. I felt as if her knew what I needed before we even started taliking. I feel very lucky to have become one of his patients.

Dr. Teixeira and the staff work together as a team - your team - to prepare and educate you for this life-changing surgery. I have felt cared for every step of the way - from my first visits to during and after surgery. I feel like they are right beside me on my journey, supporting me all the way. Could not have asked for a better team to see me through this, and Dr. Teixeira has been an awesome leader from the start. Great bedside manner, sense of humor, but an expert, in all seriousness, when answering my questions and starting me on the right track. This is not an easy journey, and I can't imagine making it without each member of the team there.

Don’t go to this location for any surgery if you’re black!! My experience with this location was a nightmare! My procedure was fine, they sent me to recovery overnight which is where my nightmare began. After my medication from my surgery wore off, I was in excruciating pain, I had to keep pressing my call light for assistance prior to sending my daughter to the nurses station for basic necessities like socks, blankets and ice water because nobody would answer my light! When the nurse finally got to my room, she gave me a small dose of morphine which helped with my pain a little bit. Hours before, the nurse instructed that I walk around every 2 hours, just to never check and make sure if I walk or to see if I had already walked. The next morning, I had to call for my breakfast tray they never brought in at 9:30 (breakfast ends at 9) the tray they did bring was a chicken broth when I mentioned several times that I am a vegetarian and even had to send my dinner tray from the night before back because they made the same mistake. My nurse came in hours later with discharge info and told me that they were trying to send me home with Tylenol which is completely unacceptable!! I will never go back to this location, I am currently in pain a week post surgery and am completely fed up!!

Dr Teixeira was amazing! He answered all my questions pre and post op. He put my mind at ease with surgery. I would highly recommend him and his team. His office staff is great as well.
