One of the best doctors in town

I want to thank Dr. Alvarez and his team at Rothman Orthopaedics for the successful ACDF surgery they performed on me. After trying to avoid the procedure, I met with Dr. Alvarez and he convinced me to have it. He listened to my issues, made suggestions, and answered my questions. His warm confidence and positive outlook for my future helped me put my trust in him to do the surgery. The before and after care was excellent and he and his assistant always made themselves available to me. After six months I am back at a busy life as a painter and printmaker, husband and tinkerer. Dr. Alvarez is such a respectful and knowledgeable surgeon. I am so confident in his abilities and recommendations. His staff is fabulous too. Just a great experience when you have health issues you are trying to understand and decide on.

Just such a great experience every time I have seen Dr. Alvarez. He took the time to talk to me about the issues I have and explain the options available. He genuinely cares which is an important quality to me.

Excellent office manner and sharing or medical explanations

Dr Alvarez is one of the best doctors I have ever seen in my entire life he has performed spinal cord surgery on my neck and improved my condition where I thought it was hopeless he has given me a better quality of life skills are unmeasurable as far as appreciated so much I thank him with all my heart we're doing something a wonderful excellent job on my neck surgery he correct some serious problem I had before where I was in danger of being paralyzed from the neck down permanently he has fixed to that and it's getting better everything he ever said was the truth it came true right before my eyes and he is an amazing amazing doctor Dr Alvare Dr Andrew p Alvarez is a incredible surgeon I would say 10 stars to Dr Alvarez I had had neck surgery prior to that from a different position that pretty much destroyed my quality of life but Dr Alvarez went in and repaired his the other doctors imperfections and made me actually be able to walk again I was becoming paralyzed and he saved my life

I have to say I love Dr Alvarez and his team. Saw him as a 2nd option after having back surgery 2 years ago and still having pain no matter what pain medication was ordered. He explained test results to my husband and I showing us films pointing out problem areas. Gave us different choices without pressure. Just 4 months post revision back surgery and I am pain free. Would recommend him to anyone needing to have orthopedic or Neuro back surgery. Already rave about him, his team and Rothman Orthopedic on a whole. You won’t be disappointed.

If looking for a great ! Orthopedic for your spine concerns this is the doctor to see. I had Lumbar Fusion and now my pain is gone. Doctor Alvarez is empathic to your needs,talks to you in a manner you can understand, listens to your concerns. All around great physician and surgeon. This is the doctor you should consider when you have problems with your back and need relief. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Alvarez and his team are GREAT. They greet you with kindness, they questions and they listen and answer your concerns. Dr. Alvarez is there for this patients, he doesn't rush or try to push you away he communicates very clearly so when you leave his office you have a clear understanding of what's going on with yourself. No pressure whatsoever. He goes above and beyond.
