Horrible experiences here!! Avoid this place , there are better professionals at McDonalds. The front desk ladies are horrible, mean, incompetent, and they do not care about the patients.

I had been a patient for several years. You can never get through to someone when calling. I’ve been through hell the past 8 months. I’m completely out of medication and despite the caring nature, I’m hoping I don’t go into seizures since they’ve cut me off of gabapentin.

I saw the reviews, but I looked passed them this time because I am a Physician Assistant and word has been that Dr. Alar is a great Rheumatologist, actually I have heard through the medical community she is one of the best. I am so glad I followed my gut on this one and met with her. The Rumors are true. She is amazing. She listened, and did a thorough analysis of my labs. She is very academic and knowledgeable. She came up with an extremely thorough and appropriate work up and care plan for me. I did not have any trouble with the front office, I was able to get my appointments adjusted and the office helped answer my questions. My wait time was just a few minutes to see the doctor, but keep in mind if you ever have to wait she is worth the wait! I had my follow up visit today with the nurse practitioner. I went in skeptical, BUT I was blown away by her knowledge. She was able to very skillfully explain every lab value and go over my prognosis. She made sure I had a close follow up and emailed all my future orders. Long story short give them a shot! I work in dermatology and I will be sending my patients this way for great comprehensive care. They know what they are doing and if you need a Rheum work up look no further

I was skeptical about this office because of the reviews and the front desk not knowing if they accepted my insurance when I called. Wouldn't you know who you're in network with? anyhow, scheduled anyways and I am so glad I did. I waited a bit to see the doctor, but, she was well worth the wait. Professional, educated and personable. She is the second rheumatologist i've seen and she was by far way better than the first. Thankful for you Anika. Also, the front desk staff was actually pretty great in person.

Like others have said avoid this place. Scheduled my partner an appointment with this Dr. because her OBGYN mentioned her by name and sincerely regret it. Terrible communication, switched appointment with nurse practitioner at the very last minute without informing us. Lobby was full of people with one complaint or another. We weren’t the only ones getting switched to her nurse practitioner after checking in for an appointment with the doctor herself. No explanation given. Sat in lobby/room for over an hour after appointment time, to see a provider we explicitly said we didn’t want to see, and of course will be billed for a full amount. Don’t come here.

They are extremely uncaring toward their patients. Horrible demeanor. Not at all professional. They have a habit of blaming the patients for their incompetence. Furthermore, the doctor is not compassionate to her patients. I'm hoping they change for the better!! This is disappointing

They provide terrible patient service. Horrible demeanor. Not at all professional. They don't do their work and blame their mistakes on you. Do not come here because she is not compassionate and is extremely rude. They only want your money and have no genuine concern for your well-being. I had to switch doctors.

I was supposed to have a refill on a prescription. Called the pharmacy like I’ve been doing the past few years to use the automated line. Normally I get a text notification. I did not receive it so I called the pharmacy who informed me they were waiting for the ok from the doctor. I contacted the doctors office and was transferred to Joanna who was very rude and condescending. This is the second time. She would not listen and just kept saying the same thing over and over like it was practiced. This gave me the impression she feels patients are ignorant and not worthy of good customer service. Almost as if everyone receives this treatment. I have sent the refill request three days in a row because I did not receive a response. The pharmacy informed me they sent the request each time via fax as they always do. Where is the accountability? What will it take to make sure the administration puts its patients first with professionalism and a positive attitude and energy. It’s definitely lacking with Joanna and seems be with some of the admin. Something has to change. Still haven’t received my prescription. I prefer a review over Letter Of Representation. Thank you

Terrible. Staff never know anything. Loose paperwork. Its an in and out visit and the wait is horrible.
