April Smith Gonzalez's Online Review Report Card

Dr April smith Gonzalez had been my PCP for almost a decade. She is so compassionate, cares so much about her her patients, and truly has a passion for medicine. She is kind, approachable, and knowledgeable. The office is also super convenient to get lab work done in office and is so clean and peaceful!

Up until my last visit Dr. Smith-Gonzalez had been very helpful and caring. I was suffering from severe pain that lasted weeks. Upon my last check up, I inquired about next steps and if there was anything to do to try to resolve my issues in a timely manner. Dr. Smith Gonzalez accused my husband and I of not trusting her because we had sought a second opinion, and she was extremely dissmisive of my health. She did not suggest immediate action because she said that there are other patients who are suffering from worse symptoms and that mine were not severe (I was unable to work, take care of my house or child, or even my own personal hygiene). I have never been treated like this in a medical setting, and found it very unprofessional. She also told me that since my symptoms were not as bad as others a visit to the ER would not be useful since my condition was not severe enough. Thankfully, against her advice, I went to the hospital and was admitted where they were able to diagnose and resolve my pain. In addition, getting hold of the staff on the phone is very difficult. Will not be returning.

Dr April-Smith Gonzalez is by far the best Doctor I have ever had. I drive almost an hour to my appointments just to see her. I am not an easy patient do to anxiety regarding my health. She is kind understanding knowledgeable and truly cares.

What stands out about Dr Smith-Gonzalez is both her knowledge and her kindness.

I've been a devoted patient at this exceptional practice for over four years now. The staff and doctors here are truly outstanding; they treat patients like family, not just numbers. Whenever I need medical expertise, they provide honest answers without pressure. These are the best primary care doctors I've ever had. They have been a true blessing in my life.

I liked her until she dropped me with no notice saying she refused to take my Medicare Advantage Plan. I've been seeing her for years, and her staff said nothing to me until today. I am a heart patient, and she left me hanging, for money I guess. Horrible place!

Incompetent group of people running a clinic. They insist on making my visit a regular visit and that my insurance will not consider it a physical exam even though my insurance confirmed that this qualifies as a physical visit. I refused to accept it as a traditional office visit and left the office. Update 02/21/22: Not only did they waste my entire morning, today I get a bill from my insurance company. They charged the insurance 102$ and there is a balance left of 87$. I am not sure if this is pure fraud or stupidity, either way, this is by far the most unprofessional and incompetent medical office i had to deal with in my adulthood life.

Was dropped the same day as my appointment since they no longer take my insurance. Would've been nice to be notified well before so I could've made arrangements to be seen elsewhere.
