Met with Dr. Rodriguez today for the first time and he took his time to explain and answered my questions. He is also understands nutrition and does not feel that medication is always the solution. See you next year Doc. Eddie F

Dr Rodriquez was assigned to me when my cardiologist went to another organization. My first visit consisted of of him reading the records changing my medication which what I had was working. And a belittling lecture on the weight. He didn’t know cause he didn’t ask I was on 3 medications that cause weight gain, working w/ no testosterone which was being addressed, and that had lost 7 pounds since starting a Mediterranean diet. Second visit no labs ordered so no idea how meds he changed me to were working. Asked about Attr-cm; started saying I didn’t have kidney issues. I do a floating stage 2&3, I had to TELL him of Irish descent, hard to take deep breaths you get the idea: no questions on his part. I then told him he needs to respect me and talk in plain English. I have a complicated health issues. The only way to get a complete picture of my situation he needs to know what is happening. I told him I don’t want him treating me if this is the way he is going to treat me.

Have been going to Dr. Rodriguez for several years,but this past year was a real education in care and professional knowledge. Have had good and bad experiences with office and staff. I am more educated myself and know the ropes well. My care has been good and his knowledge beyond mine is superlative. That's why I trust him. I have due to heart issues been seeing cardiologists since I was 23, 40 years! I have seen many. Dr. Rodriguez is the real deal,and that is what I want.

After a long wait time, he spent not even 5 mins. with us. He left for what we thought was to give us some information we requested but he never returned. There are better doctors out there than him. We changed to another doctor.
