Avante At Orlando's Online Review Report Card

I cannot stress this strongly enough…Please stay AWAY from this place!! My loved one has been in the hospital in the critical care unit for 2 weeks now because of this facility!! He was unable to feed himself due to the staff not giving him his daily dosages of medication which led to in mobility. They would serve him puréed food but not take the time to sit and feed him or keep him hydrated. He became so severely dehydrated and under nourished that the hospital didn’t think he could recover! He also got a terrible bedsore from the lack of care. He is literally still fighting for his life right now because of the lack of experience, care and ignorance of this facilities staff!! STAY AWAY

$10/hr as a PCA is unacceptable, especially working with patients. I am fully vaccinated and I have my BLS certification. Ms. (C) you have a attitude problem you need to work on. Ms. (E) you are one of a kind through my interview and orientation. Fifteen minutes before my interview I got a text message from you guys asking me if I can reschedule, that's unprofessional. Three days Prior to my orientation I got a text message stating that I have to do my fingerprint and the discussion was I cannot come in because I was trying to make arrangements for my children. I asked if I can Make an appointment over the phone so I wouldn't have to come in. I was told "OK the next day I would get a call from an unknown number to make the appointment." I don't usually leave my phone on ring because I have a 4 month old baby at home with me. I waited for 2 days for someone to call and no one did. The day of orientation I got there and they told me that I couldn't finish with my orientation Because I did not get my fingerprint done, with that being said they did not really care if I had to start orientation all over or if I was going to miss any information given. I spoke to an (Admin) and she BLAMED ME because I did not call to ask her why she didn't call me. Now that's VERY unprofessional. My job was to stay next to my phone and answer when you call. Your job was to call me so that I can set up an appointment with you so that I can start working. Rescheduling the interview 15 minutes before I come in is unprofessional, not calling me to set up an appointment is unprofessional. Why it's unprofessional because if I had called Avante Asking you guys 15 minutes before my interview if I can reschedule, you guys would be sending me an email stating "We no longer need you to come in for an interview, we have moved on with another candidate." So I'm writing this because it was unprofessional and it was time wasted for both me and you.

This place is HORRIBLE. My grandmas health deteriorated after being here for 2 months. They don’t care for your loved ones. My grandma left with a diaper rash that led to her death in December 2021. She never had diaper rashes; therefore it was due to the factor of their lack of changing diapers frequently. This company is lucky my family is not suing and taking legal matters. Not just the care for their patients, but this facility is dirty and has a strong odor. Please stay clear of this nursing home.

I would put a zero star if I could, my grandma was in there for 2 months and passed away due to an infection all over her body, they did not change her, or even care to check and tell her loved ones that she had a huge infection. she could’ve been here today with us. anger is an understatement.

Bad Nursing home they act like there not getting paid. Lazy and rude. They should have more caring and love for their patients.

I have to thank the staff at this facility. They helped me get myself back home and they cared for me so well. The 3-11pm CNA I had was wonderful.

front desk lady is nice, HR lady is rude from jump and gives an attitude. Your working in the wrong field sweetie if you don't have the patience.

I cannot thank the people that work here enough for taking care of me. I feel like they really cared about me as a person. I made some great friends with the other residents. The activities held were amazing and made it feel less like a facility. The front patio was nice to enjoy the breeze and scenery. Last but not least, my doctor saw me every week which was great.

At first I was not sure how my rehab experience was going to go but it turned out great. The therapy team got me walking after 3 weeks. My roommate was friendly and the north wing staff all took very good care of me. They even allowed my husband to visit me which was helpful for my recovery. Thank you Avante at Orlando!

I highly recommend the Therapy team at Avante, they are very professional, friendly and responsive to the patients needs. The facility is kept very well inside and outside. This facility also has good management and personnel that are very responsive to my needs. Very qualified personnel that have been with Avante for many years.
