Dr. Kakovand has been my cardiologist for 7+ years. He was the first and only doctor to figure out my complex heart problems and has treated me like one of his own kids since day 1. He has supported me from every low and high through the years and has drastically changed my quality of life. He is extremely knowledgeable on POTS, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Couldn’t recommend him more.

Dr. Kakavand is very patient with all of my many (and repetitive!) questions! He is compassionate and very, very knowledgeable. He is a team player with the family in trying to find solutions to help ease the child's symptoms and discomfort. He listens and is a very positive and encouraging doctor. Very grateful that we were referred to Dr. Kakavand!

My daughter struggled for years, starting in 6th grade. We were referred to Kakavand her 9th grade year and finally had a diagnosis. He discovered she had POTS, which few doctors understand. He and his team were amazing and I was grateful to have found him.

Dr. Kakavand is the best. I would follow him to the ends of the earth for my kids. He has seen two of my kids for the last three years (one for follow up to Kawasaki disease, one for POTS). He listens to the kids and parents and answers all questions. He is very patient with difficult teen. He even addresses my daughter's chronic pain and does not give up trying to help her. He has even stopped me in the hospital lobby to ask about them (when we have been there for something else). He is amazing

My expierence with Dr,K. was the best. Seeing him leave U. K.was the worst day for my little boy, he looked at Dr. K.as his hero and in many ways he was. Often times my son has ask to move where he was so he could still be his patient. Dr. K treated my son for many years in his little eyes and who ever is fortunate to have him as a doc please realize what a wonderful man has chosen to come into your child's life. He is the best.
