Dr. Harris spent less than 5 minutes with my child before diagnosing her. When I raise concerns about his diagnosis, he insulted me and told me “to leave it to the professional.” As he was the only one my insurance would pay for we returned for a follow up visit where I asked him to assess for ADHD. He told me she needed to be failing in all areas before he would consider re-evaluating. When I stated that her therapist and teacher both saw ADHD tendencies, he stated, “ well it depends on where you are trained, and I was trained well. Not sure about who she is seeing.” These are professionals who work with her weekly and on a daily basis. I have now had a second opinion and this new developmental pediatrician heard my concerns and spent an hour with my daughter and was able to tell me what was going one. I discourage anyone for using Dr Harris for an evaluation as his bedside manner is beyond repulsive. He refused to listen to me, and I have never felt so dismissed about my concerns with my child. All his suggestions were dismissed by the professionals he told me to see, as they did not agree with his diagnosis. I am highly disappointed as I value all Arnold Palmer has done for my child. I will never recommend Dr. Harris.

My son is almost 4, after doing my best to advocate for my son, and after having several behavioral checkups with 3 different primary care physicians, I finally found a Dr. that believed me and told me "Yeah mom, this isn't normal". And she gave me a referral. A referral that I desperately needed so that I could even advocate more for my sweet son. Back up to October of 2020, my son had been discharged from 2 daycares for extreme hyperactivity and impulsively. They couldn't keep up with him and he was exceptionally disruptive. So we tried everything natural from calm powder, to calm gummies, to CBD, to L-theanine, extra magnesium, extra Fish Oils, behavioral therapy and Occupational therapy. No amount of natural worked for our son. We knew we needed more support from a specialist. We were referred to Dr. Harris of AP behavioral health. After a very long wait, we had our 1st appt. And I will scream this to every parent that needs to hear this. Every moment that we spent waiting was worth it. Dr. Harris was on time (has been at every single appt.) did a very thorough review of or son in person and collected all of the data from us. He listened to my concerns and didn't rush me. He let me ask the questions and he answered them. At our second appt we had our diagnosis. It wasn't a shocker, I already knew in my heart is was severe ADHD do I was prepared to hear the same from the Dr. It has now been about 6 months since out 1st visit and my precious son is back, happy and succeeding in school! I cannot thank Dr. Harris enough! I look forward to working with him and his team for years to come.

Dr. Harris is more concern about not upsetting the school system than the child’s well-being. He promotes giving medication to a barely 3 year old as treat of choice for ADHD instead of trying behavior therapy. Dr Harris barely interacts with toddler and makes diagnosis & treatment based on one parent’s perception, even if the other parent requests further evaluation & behavior modification as 1st line of therapy. He does not consider the child’s environment as a contributing factor. He refuses to do in school evaluations. Definitely I Do Not Recommend this provider. Dr. Sanchez, Ed.D.

After talking to many different doctors about my son, Dr. Harris was the first doctor that actually had the knowledge to put together all of my son's symptoms into a diagnosis. I felt heard and understood. I'm relieved that we can now move forward with getting my son the help he needs.

Dr. Brian Harris is the best. He has helped us and our son through so much over the past 6 months. Highly recommended.

Unprofessional. Canceled appointments, unreturned phone calls and stolen paperwork.

I was a patient of his for years in Texas, when he moved back to Nebraska I wanted cry and/or follow him...lol. His attention to detail and taking my concerns seriously saved my life. After numerous doctors misdiagnosed me, failed to acknowledge that I might be having TIAs ( stating I was too young).Those doctors kept sending me to neurology with the assumption I was having absence seizures, intermittent Bells Palsy and worse yet,a psychosomatic disorder. Dr. Harris always listened to me, he ultimately agreed with my intuition and placed a hematology referral that ultimately saved my life. I met with the hemologist who recognized immediately that I was in fact having numerous TIA's weekly.(at only 35yrs of age). I was diagnosed with elevated Factor VIII, which was causing my hypercoagability symptoms. I also received confirmation that my condition has a genetic and hereditary component which will now help with screening my siblings and also my two children.I am now taking the right combination of medications and my symptoms have all but disappeared! Thank you Dr. Harris! Your referral to Dr. Jana was a miracle and he also expressed the importance of you identifing that "something just didn't seem right about my constellation of symptoms.He noted that you ended many years of my physical/mental suffering and potentially increased my life expectancy since I am now getting the proper care. For that, my family and of course myself, will be eternally grateful.
