If I could give zero stars I would. If you are young and have no idea what is going on with you, please don’t see Dr. Hasselbring. She is dismissive and did not take me seriously because of my age. She’s rude. When talking to her during my appointments I felt like I was being scolded. People go to doctors offices for help, especially rheumatologists, and I didn’t feel helped or heard at all. I know my body, I have been a healthy person my whole life and now I have these problems that we can’t figure out what’s causing them and every time I went to see her I just felt mentally worse because of the treatment. I have been going through tests and being sick for three years now. This office gave no hope and no care. I cried out of frustration every time I left the appointments. She will not work with you or listen to you. I went about 3 or 4 times to see her and every time I had to repeat myself and my family history because she brushes it off and doesn’t deem it important. I will be seeing a new doctor. Maybe if you already know your diagnosis it won’t be so bad. They make you do labs and then wait over a month to come back for the results.

Don’t bother. They don’t call you back…

My first rheumatologist told me despite his best efforts I would be in a wheelchair in 5 years so I changed to Dr. Hasselbring. After more than 20 years under her medical guidance I am in great shape and doing what I enjoy - without a wheelchair.

She can be very blunt but you can tell she truly cares about her patients.

I had my 6 month checkup in September and that is when my medications are refilled. They verified the pharmacy I use and I left. Three 3 weeks later I run out of one of my meds and call the pharmacy to refill and find out the renewal was never sent in, I asked the pharmacy to contact the doctor and two days later when there wasn’t a reply I called the office and left a message on the nurse line. Still no response after 3 days so I call and leave a message on the office managers line AND the pharmacy sends another request. Tomorrow is Monday so I’m going directly to the office to get my refill... this is terrible patient care and I’ve been there 5 years. It’s Monday evening and I went to the office to check on my medication today and the woman at the desk went to check with the doctor. When she returned I was told that I verified the pharmacy was Publix!!! Wrong!!! My insurance changed a year ago and at that time I updated my information with the practice. The fact they submit bills for my visits and we’re paid supports this. It doesn’t matter...after the calls from me and the repeated requests for refill from Walgreens not a soul in this office cared to look into the situation and call me back. Looking for a new doctor.

I have been going to this office for a very long time. I did have a short period that I had bc/bs that they didn't take while I was out of work but that wasn't for very long. I come to this office every 3 months and book out appointments 6 months in advance because of my work schedule. They call me anywhere between a week before to the day of every appointment, that I have booked out 6 months ago, to change my appointment. EVERY APPOINTMENT FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS! 3 months ago I told Carol, the scheduler, not to call me to change my appointment anymore. So, today I get a call from the office Manger needing to change my appointment. I think it's past time to look for another doctor.

My wife has been a patient for quite some time. Dr H decided to change her treatment in February (it is now June) and has yet to provide replacement medicine. So literally NO medicine for 4 months. You leave voicemail for the nurse, office manager, dr herself, and still no resolution. I’m sure if we didn’t pay for 4 months of service we would receive a call. Horrible Dr needs to retire!!!

I have been going to Dr. Hasselbring for many many many years and she’s a fantastic doctor. I think they fall short in the clinical team. I’ve never had a bad experience until now. I need my prescription refilled but was waiting for my sleep test to come back which is not due for a couple more days and I was told that they will not fill my medication which is not controlled not even for 30 days so I have to takeoff work and do it in two days in order for them to fill my prescription and now I have a three day suspension from work for taking off. I love the doctor but the clinical staff is awful and that’s pretty sad because Hasselbring is such a great doctor and she should be surrounded by compassionate employees.

All the technical issues these reviews have are not the doctor’s fault. She is wonderful at what she does, which is care for her patients’ health. Like my spouse. Whose been going there for years now without incident and has kept the diagnosis under control within the safest evidence-based management possible. Dr. Hasselbring cares about the long term effects of the medications her patients have to take in order to keep them in good shape.

This visit wasn't any different than previous visits. Late to be seen, nasty front office staff, get pawned off on PA because Dr. Hasselbring is too busy. That said, the antiquated medical office space is in dire need of a face-lift...it's 2021, not the 80's. Once you finally get in to see Dr. Hasselbring, you'll feel like you've been relegated to the principal's office for a scolding and don't bother saying something hurts. She'll say something like it's your fault. This most recent visit was my last. The medical record transfer authorization form has already been submitted. Adios and other patients beware: There aren't many rheumatologist options in the Orlando area. If you find yourself in this office as a last resort, plan an exit strategy as soon as possible.
