I saw Dr. Heard for a hip problem after total hip replacement by another doctor. I have had pain and difficulty walking. Dr. Heard took x-rays and did a thorough exam and history of my health. He watched me walk, he measured the leg length differential two different ways, and examined my hips, abdomen and legs. He is extremely thorough. He discovered that I have tendinitis in both hips plus he suspects a hernia. He referred me to a general surgeon to check out the possible hernia, and will see me back in a month to re-evaluate. Meanwhile, I will meet with the general surgeon in two days. Dr. Heard is wonderful, kind, and listened carefully to all my answers to his questions. After all this time and seeing other doctors who only look at their x-rays and other tests, only Dr. Heard was able to discover the problems.Thank you Dr. Heard for being so thorough and kind. I do not care how long I would need to wait to see him, he is well worth the wait! I am so glad he was recommended to me! ??

Dr Heard preformed a total replace surgery 02/21/2021. I have had more pain since the operation than I ever had before I made the mistake of Dr Heard operate on my knee. The morning after the surgery Dr Heard came into my hospital room and told that I waited too long to have the surgery, that he had to work that he really hard to fix my knee. Every office visit after the surgery, Dr Heard would remove as much as 80 cc of bloody fluid from my knee. His response every visit was that it was my fault, that I was doing too much causing the bloody fluid build up. I have 5 veines damaged in my kenn that leak blood into the knee cavity. i did not damage the veins in my knee and of course Dr Heard denies having damaged the veins in my knee.

The secret to,successful knee surgery is choose the best surgeon ( charles heard) and follow physical therapy to the letter.

I have had bilateral knee pain at night for several years. Dr. Heard carefully and skillfully examined me. With bone on bone in one knee along with tendinitis he provided a cortisone injection that has rendered my sleep pain free. An outstanding physician and staff.

Dr. Heard has replaced both of my knees and one hip. He and his team gave me excellent care. I had great results with all three surgeries.

Dr Heard is the best. He is outstanding in technical expertise in hip and knee replacements (I’ve had both from him over the past 15 years). He is precise, conservative in practice and a perfectionist in his work. Even though he is extremely busy, he always takes his time with patients. Couldn’t ask for more

My husband was suffering with hip pain after 2 injections. The office was not picking up calls. My husband went there, and they refused to see him. He had to go to the ER who couldn’t do anything except give pain meds since the doctor had not uploaded his records. Called again 2 days ago but they still haven’t returned our call.

Dr. Heard is a professional and expert in Orthopedics. He evaluated my knee issue with skill and patience. His advice shocked me! Fully expected to have knee surgery for torn ACL and meniscus. After his testing my knee, he recommended not having surgery-wow, that was surprising. Treated me with an exercise therapy plan with follow up in 1 month. He also informed me I would NOT be playing professional football in my future but could continue normal life activities with some limitations.
