2 years ago I would have given this office 5 stars for it's outstanding doctors and awesome staff. Since that time they have lost all three of their nurse practitioners as well as many good office staff. It seems like the entire office but a few have changed over many times, especially the medical assistants. While I still respect the doctors, and 2 of the many staff, it definitely seems like there may be an issue with the office administration. I am very sensitive to smells such as perfume, body wash, etc. I had 3 issues where I actually had to leave the office. I keep being told by the office administrator they are a scent free office and no one wears perfume. Well, one day the office administrator had flowers in the window one day and other incidents were blamed on patients. The staff even told me they where scents and what did I expect, it was an office full of ladies. After the last incident where I had to leave and actually use an Epi Pen, they made me come back to the office to avoid an Emergency Room Charge, I wore a mask. I spoke to the office administrator who told me up front she wasn't going to get close to me since she was wearing a scent. 5 minutes into the conversation she denied the staff wear scents. I sent a letter to Dr. Aldarondo to advise him of this and ask for assistance. I even enclosed copies of signs a lot of doctors post for a scent free environment. Well currently I am inpatient in the hospital and have been for 5 days. I called to make an appointment and was told they will no longer be seeing me after I sent that letter. They said they sent me a letter but I've been in the hospital so I could not get it. So now, I am going to be discharged without a doctor to follow up on. Not good this is my 17th admission in 2 years. This has really left a bad taste in my mouth, obviously. So while in the hospital trying to get well, I will be looking for a doctor, thank God I have a great primary care.
