I had degenerative discs and nerve compression in my neck causing numbness issues in both arms and hands. After extensive research I found Dr Cory Hartman. Dr Hartman has an amazing staff and he was incredible from my first visit through my multi-level fusion in my neck. It’s been 9 months and my neck feels great. I no longer have the pain or numbness issues. I was in a car accident this year and Dr Hartman went and viewed all the imaging afterwards while I was still in the hospital to make sure there was no damage. My neck was the only part of my body that didn’t hurt and the fusion was completely undamaged. Even through all the follow-up visits Dr Hartman has been amazing. His APRN Lisa Sonberg has been equally incredible in post-operative visits. Nancy was so informative and accommodating with all the coordination and scheduling of this very stressful procedure. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr Hartman and his staff have been or about the difference they’ve made in my life and my health. For anybody who needs a neurosurgeon especially for neck and disc issues I recommend Dr Hartman as highly as humanly possible. He’s a world-class surgeon, a fantastic person and his staff are equally spectacular. Orlando Neurosurgery is lucky to have him as am I.

After suffering from severe back pain for years, I met Dr. Hartman. This meeting was a blessing and has greatly improved the quality of my life. I am able to function in ways that I didn't think I would again. Aside from being a talented neurosurgeon, Dr. Hartman has the best bedside manner and personality of any doctor I have encountered. His team, particularly, Lisa and Nancy were wonderful as well.

This young man is my hero! Cannot say enough about his talent as a neurosurgeon, he truly saved my life. Not only is he an excellent surgeon, but an excellent young man, who's bedside manner, compassion and empathy meant so much, not only to me but to my family. All the best to you in your new life in Montana. You will be missed in Orlando.

I would highly recommend recommend Dr. Hartman to any friends and family members. He took my Healthcare matter more seriously then I could have ever imagined. If it were not for his professionalism and knowledge I would probably be paralyzed right now. He went against all odds with me including my own private Insurance company which denied my surgery but he assured me that he would take care of the matter and went above and beyond and kept his word and did just so. My surgery was very successful and I'm very pleased with him and his entire staff... 😊

I needed spinal surgery on my neck and was terrified to have it worked on. Dr. Hartman's Nurse practitioner was amazing and really helped me with my anxiety. Because the hospitals were Code Black at that time, I had my surgery in a surgical center. Everything was fantastic...he did such a good job, i did not require any physical therapy! His other assistant, Nancy is also amazing. Great experience overall

As a retired Physician Assistant I have worked with many Docs over the years some good, some not so much. I have also been a patient and had both good and bad experiences. Dr. Hartman performed a L4/5 Laminectomy and fusion. When I woke up the pain that I had been experiencing for years was gone. It is now 3 months later and I’m doing great. In addition I love his bedside manner. He is friendly, informative and he spent the time I needed to get my questions answered. He is a 10 out of 10!

What can I say? Dr. Cory “Miracle Man” Hartman is the best. I am a 79 year old who had been plagued with back pain for years consisting of bulging discs and, most recently, spinal stenosis. My lifestyle was majorly compromised. Dr. Hartman performed surgery and I was up and walking the same day. After one week, I was walking a mile almost every day without pain, albeit with a walker. After 4 weeks, I was walking that mile without the walker. At the 6 week follow up appointment, he said I was good to live my life with no restrictions … distance walking and riding my bicycle. Planning to walk a 10kK in June. Thank you Dr. Hartman.

l recently underwent back surgery with Dr. Hartman. It was the best back surgery experience I have ever undergone, and I have had several. Dr. Hartman and his staff have a great no-nonsense system, he has a sense of humor and a friendly bedside manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of a neurological procedure.

I highly recommend Dr. Cory J. Hartman. I suffered with back pain for 45 years. He suggested the least invasive procedure of decompression, rather than the more painful and unnecessary method of spinal fusion as suggested by the first doctor, for my situation. Dr. Hartman is a highly skilled surgeon. He is honest, compassionate and has a terrific sense of humor. All of these qualities finally put me at ease after years of trying to relieve the pain with endless chiropractor treatments, pain injections, etc. You are in excellent hands with Dr. Hartman.
