David Auerbach's Online Review Report Card

Dr. David Auerbach, DO performed lens replacement, due to cataracts, in both eyes. During both surgeries Dr. Auerbach corrected lifelong astigmatism, using a laser procedure. His skill is precise and he articulates information extremely well. Today, during my final post-surgery visit, Dr. Auerbach corrected a dry eye issue that I've had for many years. My experience with Dr. Auerbach has been exceptional.

Saw Dr. Auerbach on a consultation referral. Professional yet friendly. Knows his stuff! Readily answered questions I had. Staff moved me quickly from vision test to test as doctor ordered them. Very thorough exam. Staff was friendly and professional. Appt started 20 minutes late but once in everything moved quickly.

Excellent! Very thorough, knowlegeable and attentive. Nice manners. Gave us hope for a diagnosis.

We have been seeing Dr. Auerbach for years and have full confidence in his treatments. He has never disappointed. Sometimes he has been running late because of surgery but always comes in with a smile on his face and an apology. His staff is efficient and friendly and patient.

My husband arrived 10 minutes early for his appointment with Dr Auerbach - after 40 minutes he asked how much longer he was going to be and Lindsay (the very rude and abrasive office manager) told him they were busy with an emergency - they put him in a room (to shut him up) and took his glasses to be assessed but then came in and informed him, he wouldn't be seeing Dr Auerbach, but whoever he was seeing was still going to be another hour after which time, he got up and said "He also has a business to run and his time is money too!' and he left. I must add that we've both been using this office for over 20 years. I also had an experience with Dr Auerbach who was very dismissive and had a horrible bedside manner - actually got annoyed when I couldn't keep my eye open for him to put a needle in my tear duct....I eventually did, but he had absolutely NO patience - that's the end of us using this office - we will be finding a new eye dr for us and all our friends and family.

Not a chance that I would recommend Dr Auerbach. He is hack who looks at patients as revenue sources not people.

He inserted a lens crooked but waited 3 years to tell me. State of Florida allows only 2 years to sue for medical malpractice. He was joking with the anesthetist during the surgery.

I would not go to Auerbach again if he treated me for nothing. He has no clue what he is doing and has the personality of a rock.

I have been going to Eye Physicians of Central Florida seeing Dr Auerbach for over 10 years. I couldn't be happier with my care. The office is the best run medical office I have ever been to. Dr Auerbach and his support staff are knowledgeable and attentive. When I was having problems with my vision, they spent hours patiently working to find a solution - and they did! I highly recommend for everything from regular vision checkups to cataract surgery and eye diseases.
