The practice itself is wonderful. Unfortunately we do not feel “heard” by Dr. Yaeger and this has been the case for the more than a decade. Both times we have seen him for sick child visits, we get a “wait it out” response. I’ve been a mother for 18 years, and while I’m not a physician I am keenly in-tune with my family’s healthcare needs. I know when the bigger picture should be considered. Knowing that my son had been sick for a full week, was not improving, and had to get on an airplane should have been considered before ruling out something more helpful than OTC which had not been working. Instead, my son ended up with completely blocked ears, an excruciating headache, post-nasal drip and a cough that absolutely could have been helped with stronger medicine. On top of that, add the stress of a mother trying to find an out-of-state urgent care, no easy means of transportation, and amplified concerns for my son. Disappointing.

We love Dr. Yaeger! He always takes the time to make sure we are heard and to explain what the possible concerns could be. He also isn’t quick to prescribe a med if it isn’t truly needed and looks to identify the cause versus just treating the symptoms while listening to our concerns. All three of my children have had him as their pediatrician and I drive 45 mins to see him. I’m grateful for his care over the years. And the times when he’s been unavailable and we’ve had to see another provider, they’ve treated us just as well. I couldn’t imagine taking my kids anywhere else.

My daughter, 9, my older daughter, 25 and her older brother all saw Dr. Yeager. He is very skilled, compassionate and acdurate. Honestly, he has never been wrong. And now we live in Sanford but we commute to keep him as our Dr.

DO NOT SEE THIS “DOCTOR” - Dr. Yeager should not practice medicine. He did a brief examination of our twin girls and was nervous they were jaundice. The medical test was fine but his “34 years of experience” told him otherwise. He tested both of them despite only one looking sick because he didn’t pay enough attention to keep them straight. After the local testing facility messed up the first test, he had us go in on Thanksgiving morning to a hospital far from our home because he “knows people” there. He put the order in wrong and they sent us home. No one knew him there, and they had no clue we were even coming. His communication skills are incompetent and he uses guilt like “I care about your girls” to get you to think his mistakes are your fault. He admitted zero responsibility for his screw ups and couldn’t get them fixed in any kind of quick fashion. Honestly this man should be embarrassed to call himself a doctor.
