My 10-year-old son and I are new patients of the practice and saw Dr. Kerry Giedd. Mel was our tech. Both ladies were wonderfully kind, efficient, and thorough. I asked Dr. Giedd if she could chat with us a little about screen time effects, and she really impressed me with such an elaborate explanation of the effects of screen time on all ages not just children. When it was time to check out, I wanted to get some prescription frames and she even turned into an optician to help expedite things since her other staff was tied up out of the courtesy of her heart because she knew I had a two month old baby at home. I have worked in optometry previously and I have never seen a physician jump in to lend a helping hand like this. Not only was Dr. Giedd incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant you could tell her staff was happy, as were her patients. It’s so refreshing that there are several providers like this in healthcare. We will always suggest Eola eyes to others.

The team is amazing! Dr Rice truly listens and takes his time to address all of your concerns. As a family of physicians we completely trust this practice. From the front desk of Alene (who always makes me feel like I am the most important patient) along with Amanda and Erika (who always recommends the best glasses), you truly feel cared for. There are so many great things I can say about them, but the way they treat and help their customers is truly remarkable. These days, customer service is one of the first sacrifices made by business. Eola Eyes is the best doctor/retail experience...every time! Shout out to Megan for always helping via text or email and never switching channels (nobody wants to get a phone call response to a text). Also, this place gets my neurodivergent approval: it is quiet, not intimidating, they are helpful but will leave you alone to browse, and trust that everyone from the doctors, opticians, and staff are there to help. I'm a customer for life!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Williams and her incredible team. I was a loyal patient for over a decade, and the only reason I am no longer able to visit is that the VA has taken over my vision care. To be honest, leaving her practice was one of the hardest parts of transitioning my healthcare. Dr. Williams is more than just an optometrist; she is a true partner in your health. She doesn’t just rush you through the standard "1 or 2" test and send you on your way. She takes the time to explain the anatomy of your eye, walks you through the imaging results, and genuinely cares about your overall well-being. She diagnosed my keratoconus issues early and always made sure I understood exactly what was happening with my vision. What truly sets her apart, however, is the way she treats her patients like family. She didn't just take care of my eyes; she took care of my sons' eyes as well. Watching her interact with them, putting them at ease, and making sure their developing vision was on track was a gift. It takes a special kind of person to handle adults and children with the same level of patience and expertise, but she does it seamlessly. If you are looking for a doctor who offers state-of-the-art technology, a warm bedside manner, and a staff that is equally friendly and efficient, look no further. I trust her implicitly, and I miss being her patient. I know the VA will take good care of me, but they have huge shoes to fill.
