Dr Sunshine is what I call him. He treats my mother’s macular degeneration with injections in each eye. He is easy to talk to and tells it like it is. He has a wonderful personality and does not rush.

He explains the procedure in clear, simple language that is easy to understand. He welcomes questions and takes time to answer them without the patient feeling rushed. He is comfortable with the person accompanying the patient and answers that individuals questions as well. The wait time in the office for the follow-up exam was the worse part of the experience. I had to remind myself that I expect him to take time with me also. I think the scheduler needs to give a little more time to each patient.
