List of Florida Pediatric Associates's Reviews
Dr. Yaeger is and has been our childrens pediatrician for nearly 10 years. He and his office are wonderful. You get personal attention from the actual doctors not just staff or LPNs. Weve had a couple of nonstandard health issues come up with the kids and have been fully satisfied with the healthcare service weve received from Dr. Yaegers office. I will also say that it is very nice that they are accessible around office visits such as for a phone call to ask a question. I highly recommend Dr. Yaeger and Pediatric Associates of Orlando.
We been part of this office since 1999 at first they seem to care and work with you but now the Dr are awful ... specially when they make mistakes the can cost your kids lives
Weve only been here twice but Dr. Didea is absolutely amazing He has gone above and beyond in providing and finding the best extended care for my son. He does very thorough exams and spends an adequate amount of time with his patients instead of rushing in and out like most doctors tend to do. His nursing staff is amazing as well Wait time has always been very minimal from the time in the waiting room to the time in a room waiting for the doctor both under 10 mins. Exceptional care
we have solutely love our pediatrician. This is an office that was recommended to us when we were still pregnant. And we went ahead and scheduled our first appointment with them. From the very first meeting into our 9month appointment that we just had everything is been excellentThe front office staff is always quick with a smile and check in is easy. they always ensure that everything they have information why is uptodate and accurate. This makes the building of the insurance extremely easy and weve never had any issues. We specifically go to Dr Didea who we love however if you get any of the other doctors hear youre sure to be just as happy. Weve had several appointments that were scheduled at the last minute due to illness and seeing the other doctors at that time. They were all just as greatYou can tell that everybody here really looks at their job and the people they work with as a family and enjoy what they doOverall A++highly recommend them for anyone with Littles. And its a great office to head to if youre expecting I would recommend making an appointment in advance
We have been bringing our twins here since they were born and we have been to all offices. The Doctors and Staff are truly a blessing. They primarily see Dr. DiDea but the girls have also had the pleasure to meet both Dr. Britton and Dr. Yaeger when they needed some same day diagnosis and treatments for some minor ailments. Everyone exhibits a sense of urgency while still expressing the genuine concern and compassion you would expect from seasoned professionals. We cant imagine taking our daughters anywhere else
Dr. Was more concerned with insulting my son because he was fussy then actually listening to my concerns. Im sorry I guess 13 month olds love the doctor. He was warned at tge door by the nurse that my son had screamed. I was embarrassed at first but then offended. How rude. People that are easily bothered by typical baby behavior should not be in pediatrics. Plus he was sick. He dismissed it as a cold with little examination. Not impressed with the bedside manner of the doctors Ive seen here but Dr. Yeager is the worst.
While we love our doctor the rest of this place is miserable. Im so tired of dealing with the rude unhelpful aggressive front desk staff. Even the smallest interaction with them is a masterclass in rudeness. I dread having to contact them about anything. Its extremely difficult to get a call returned. Its extremely difficult to leave a message for your Doctor. Its apparently impossible to email your Doctor or anyone else. For some reason the entire office takes a lunch break at the exact same time. I complained to the manager and she could not have cared less. Didnt even pretend to care or to try and get to the bottom of what went wrong. Miserable person. Reeked of incompetence. Im unfortunate for having had to interact with her.
My 2 children have been patients at Orlando Pediatric Associates for over a year. Yesterday my son fell and hit his eyebrow area on a terracotta pot. The gash looked bad enough to require a doctors visit. I called and was I hold for 10 minutes before I could talk to someone. I was told that the only office that take him was the university office. So I drove him 40 minutes out there. Waited another 30 minutes until we saw Dr. Yeager. He said he needed stitches and they would prep the medical supplies needed. He came back 10 minutes later and said that they did not have the medical supplies to stitch up my sons wound. Yes our pediatricians office did not have the tools needed to do 3 little stitches. We were given directions to a different medical center they didnt even give my son bandaid or gauze for the gash in his eyebrow. This office is unprofessional has long wait times and doesnt check their medical supply regularly. Doctors are nice but all of this issues negate that.
I would give 10 stars to the physicians and one star to the administrative staff. I have had both Dr. Yaeger and Britton although they have vastly different styles Yaeger is very talkative and almost like a father while Britton is effective to the point and brief both seem technically competitive detail oriented have great bedside manner easy to talk with and proactively bring up things a new parent might not know. The competence of the physicians keeps me going here. The office staff on the other hand is frustrating. The physician ordered tests for my newborn and the laboratory sent me the results and noted on them that these were sent to the physicians office the day after we had the tests done. The results were outside the normal range. I heard nothing the next day from the doctor so 2 days after getting the results called to find out what action is needed the receptionist said they havent received the results but would call the lab to get them and get back to me 3 days later I followed up and heard the lab hasnt finished the results and then well call and get back to you with calls every other day it took almost 2 weeks before I got a call about what to do with my newborn considering test results.Billing is another challenge. Insurance states one payment then get a bill that is different and money is owed takes quite some time to straighten out that yes the bill was erroneous. About a third of the bills I have received have had a problem that needed to be addressed. A bit frustrating. Conclusion medical staff incl. doctors and medical assistants are amazing. Administrative aspect could use improvement.
This place is horrible. We have been taking our baby here for 9 months and will be changing immediately. You can never get a returned call and appointments are ridiculous. Our vet for our dog is 100X better than this place....

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
