This practice took on a new management company on September. This means all visits that were $70 on our insurance plan now cost over $500. We liked Kostko but will never come back. In my opinion this is purely profiteering on sick children. I dont know how the office staff can sleep at night.
There is not a way to communicate by phone to this Center. It seems that 407 253 1000 is designed to avoid any human contact. I read past posts and it seems that this is not new. The only way to improve the communication is to create and hire a good people team to answer the phone and solve any inquiryquestion. How to get a registration to the patient portal if NOBODY answer the phone?????. Access to you guys is the worst thing ever. If I were the owner or invest in your company I should be worried because I am losing potential patients because you lack of communication.
Just called to make an apt for my child and the first available apt is in over 2 weeks. The person on the phone was less than friendly telling me that I needed a referral from her pediatrician which is not true when I told her this she proceeded to be unfriendly and told me I had to wait that long to see a Dr. at her preferred location not mine which was Lake Nona which has a wait of 2 months Thanks for all the help
I am so happy we chose this office and Dr. Cotter for my 6.5 yr old. We had her tonsils adenoids taken out last Wednesday. The surgery scheduler fought tooth nail to get the authorization for surgery as well as kept good contact with me Pam. Dr. Cotter and her Assistant Kasey were absolutely amazing. You get the option to have the surgery done at the hospital or the surgery center next to their office choose the surgery center. They were amazing as well. Thank you Dr. Cotter Kasey CENTA Staff for taking good care of our girl ❤️
Dr. Cotter is amazing I was extremely impressed with her and look forward to us possibly finding the answer to my sons illness. As for the office staff Jamie and the rest of them might as well had taken the day off because they were horrible. I completed my sons checkin online at home the night before. When I arrived they asked me to complete it again. I told Jamie that I already completed that step. She then informed me that she was sending the link again. She told me to click the link and it would pick up where I left off. Impossible since I completed the process however at her request I clicked the link and it took me back to the beginning. She insisted that I never completed the process and that her computer wasnt reflecting a completed form although I could tell her every question that was asked on the form. I would be okay if she acknowledged that there was a possibility although uncommon that I completed the form and it was accidentally deleted. However thats not the position she took. I am very capable of recalling questions ive seen from the night before. You dont need a college degree to complete basic recall questions. However I happen to have several Bachelors in Business Masters in Public Administration and a Teaching Certification. During checkout the team continued their epic steam roll. I was told that I needed complete a form at checkout you guessed it I was presented with the same form once again as if I was too basic to comprehend that it was the same. I wish that was the end of my ordeal but it wasnt. I called my insurance company before the visit and was told I was $112.00 from meeting my deductible. They told me I had a bill of $293. I questioned the bill and informed them that I was advised differently by my insurance company and I would be more than happy to call them. They told me their system was showing that I had paid zero towards my deductible and it was pointless to call my insurance company to verify. I informed them that my son had surgery early in the year and all our bills were settled so it was impossible to have paid zero. My 17 month had missed his nap and was crying mercilessly so I paid the bill and left. Called my insurance company and ordered a copy of information. Insurance company Florida Blue had no idea what screen they were referencing in order to obtain such distorted information.
Dr Gottschall is amazing. He took his time and answered all my questions. I was extremely happy and confident with his answers.
My son has been with Dr. Kosko since 2013 at the recommendation of his Endocrinologist Dr. Kosko his Office Staff In Maitland and Metrowest and his Nursing Staff are always reliable helpful friendly and go above and beyond to meet the needs of the patient and their parents When you leave a message on the Nurses line and they say theyll call back within 4 business hours THEY WILL Just dont call after 2 and expect a call back that day as they close between 4 and 5 but they will call you in the morning Dr. Kosko always reviews any new medications andor diagnosis with you at each appointment. He explains the treatment plan going forward in such a way that even the patient understands and is comfortable. I have recommended him to friends and family and everyone that has switched love him and everyone in his office.
My son was born at 26 weeks 16 years ago today. He was diagnosed with auditory neuropathy shortly after leaving Arnold Palmer and referred to Dr Coter. He was put under and he had a scan and everything was good for the implant. I felt pressured for him to have a cochlear implant and felt like a bad parent because I wanted to wait until he was a little older. It was never explained that it would take away his hearing in one ear. I knew he was hearing some and after research I decided against cochlear implant. She was insistent that it needed to be done by two for his speech and language development. I never went back and started seeing another ENT. Anyways I have a perfectly fine 16 year old who is taking honors classes and has a 3.3 GPA. He wore hearing aides and FM system up until 8 grade. He reads lips and people do not even realize he has a hearing problem. Cochlear Implants are wonderful but it was not the right option for my son.
Awful experience from the front to the Dr. she seemed bother when asked questions and ridiculed my son during his scope test.. Front desk is a complete joke unknowledgeable and overall ignorant to benefits and copays.. The positive reviews must be friends of the Doctor and team because truly they are all incompetent..
I took my daughter there to see Dr. Kosko for a tongue and lip tie. I was told he didn’t know what to tell me and she was fine. He then walked out. Completely dismissed all of the classic signs that my daughter has both and needed them to be revised. I will be seeking a second opinion because he did not care or want to listen to my concerns. Don’t take your children there.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
