I dont bring my child here I would maybe if the touch tone automation actually worked. I tried calling and it was like press 1 if you want to make an appointment. I pressed 1 apparently that was invalid. So I called back and tried pressing something else 0 invalid. I went through the entire menu invalid.

Back in early 202 Dr. Kothawala took time to actually listen to my concerns about my son and agreed with me that he was ADHD.However they have closed the private practice and I never received any notification and now my son is out of his medication. What a mess I cant get through to anyone at the Arnold Palmer location to get a new appointment set up so this is even more of a mess. Very frustrating

While Dr. Kothawala has been great his office is horrible. Im always tryingto get a hold of someone to refill prescriptions or schedule follow ups. They will NEVER answer the phone. You must wait 2448 hours for a call back which I have tried several times and days apart. Most recently I left a voicemail on Thursday to schedule a follow up since my son has zero refills left. Its Tuesday and I have not heard from anyone. If you a parent with a child who suffers from seizures I suggest finding another practice to avoid the stressful situation that is waiting to see if your child will have the necessary medication. Its unbelievable that a Pediatric Neurology office does not pick up phone calls. Very unprofessional and puts unnecessary stress on parents already dealing with a difficult situation.

Poor customer services

I call many time around 2 week nobody answers the phone and nobody call back this is horrible if you dont acept to see children close the place horrible

I have given Florida Child Neurology the benefit of the doubt for years now but honestly their lack of concern for their patients has brought me to not only writing this review but searching for a new neurologist. Dr. Kothawala and his team are great in terms of friendly service and making the visit go smoothly. However in the end that’s all I can say positively. My daughters condition has never been handled to the fullest extent only masked with medications. When those medications no longer work the only solution is to continue upping the dosage. Never once have they tried or even searched for another method of treatment despite my request and concerns.Good luck getting them on the phone for anything especially refilling medications. My daughter has emergency medication to bring her out of seizures. I have been trying to get a hold of the office for over three weeks now to get a refill and nobody will return my calls no matter the amount of voicemails I make or the calls that I place. They could care less about making sure you feel safe about their practices. How long do I have to continue watching my daughter go unconscious and receive ER treatment until she finally gets the care she needs? At the end of the day Florida Child Neurology does the bare minimum. If you want a doctor or more so a company that actually cares about your health and your wellbeing I suggest finding someone else. You will never get what you need from Florida Child Neurology and your children will continue to suffer.

My son has been going to Dr KothwalaDr Barr for YEARS now he is 15 years old now and we had an appt yesterday with the Nurse practitioner EASTER. We have seen her many times and never had an issue in the past years. While on the way there my son told me during his last visit with this father and EASTER she was very rude. With that being said I experienced the same treatment yesterday during my sons visit. She was agressive and over talking me even put her finger up in my face and told me to BE QUIET. Completely unprofessional and she needs to just BE FIRED. Even a simple conversation is too much for her to handle she clearly showed that and then I got no where trying to ask about the incorrect information she blurrted out right when she got into the room because she was condescending. How rude and unprofessional. Considering changing to another doctor although I do like Dr Kothwala and Dr Barr very much I do not care to be affiliated with any company that she is doing busniess with. She is setting a terrible example for Florida Child Neurology PLLC.

We been already 4 years with this neurology the staff and the doctors are great
