List of Jorge Suarez Cavelier's Reviews
My husband required an unplanned triple bypass. Dr. Suarez performed the surgery and eased our minds. He was very explicit in the details, cared for our emotions and brought a complete sense of skill. We contacted this practice based on my previous aortic valve replacement completed by Dr. K Accola. When our cardiologist contacted the office, Dr. Suarez was recommended for this bypass. We are overwhelmed at the amazing progress in one week. My husband is walking, eating and feeling no pain. Thank you Advent Health and Dr. Suarez!
I had a quadriple by pass. He did a superb job with his team... Made me really feel comfortable. Coming from another hospital that I did not like... him and advent health have saved my life Along with God Almighty being first... You are in good hands at advent health... And if you're lucky enough to get this surgeon take advantage of it... He really knows his stuff. And also his teams are very superb...
Simply the best!!

Absolutely would recommend Dr.Suarez-Cavelier to all.
After a triple by pass my husband suffered from fainting spells that prevented him from his PT and normal activities. Dr. Suarez during his follow up call, told him that he was just being lazy , that his problem was not doing anything and even told him to get a job. All because he was walking around the house only- since it was the only thing his body allowed him to do. According to the Dr he was supposed to be walking 40 minutes. But he would stand and we had to hold him and sit him down because he would just go limp. He was once transferred to the ER from cardiac rehab due to one of his episodes of going limp and unable to even stand. He is a 100% disabled veteran with unemployability. This Dr spoke to him that way when he was most vulnerable. My husband couldn't even react to his unprofessional comments. Months later he lost consciousness at home and had his 5th emergency hospitalization. The electrophysician did an ablation and stated that the scar he had in his heart from the infarction was the largest he had ever seen and it was causing all his problems - but the surgeon could have taken care of it during the bypass. We were LIVID. All his suffering and frustration could have been prevented..During that telecall where he was so dismissive of my husband I asked Dr Suarez for input due to my concern of him loosing weight daily. In a condescending and sarcastic manner he said just go ahead and feed him, feed him anything you want and see how that works for you. Maybe he has great experience but his bedside manner is aborrent. Probably time for him to retire since it seems like he has lost his personal touch with people and can only go into surgery to cut and suture. Would never recommend him as a surgeon. Never.
After a triple bypass by Dr. Suarez my husband suffered from fainting spells that prevented him from doing PT properly and daily activities. The therapist was so concerned that she became an advocate and called the cardiologist with her concerns. At his follow up televisit the Dr. told my husband he was lazy, his problem was he doesn't do anything and even told him to get a job. All because he was walking around the house as it was what his body allowed. He would stand up and we had to hold him and sit him down due to becoming limp and unable to move. He is a disabled veteran 100% with unemployability and he spoke to him that way when most vulnerable. He couldn't react. Months later he became unconscious at home and had his 5th crisis in four months. The electrophysician did an ablation and said he had the largest scar in his heart he'd ever seen- but it could have been fixed during bypass. We were livid. This MD needs to retire as he has lost his touch with patients. Aborrent.
This doctor performed quadruple bypass surgery on me almost 10 years ago. Six months later I had a stent put in. Was told by another doctor that it was a mechanical failure. In other words a bad operation. I spent the next 3 years recovering from this experience, I’m still not completely fine and probably will never be. I saw him once right after the surgery and he never made another appointment after that. Eventually I saw a cardiologist that looked at the records from Florida Hospital and was told, I never had a heart attack contrary to Dr Suarez report. I should have suspected there was something wrong when he sent a very pushy nurse to convince me of having the surgery the next day. Awful experience that I still live with. Consult unbiased doctors before you let this person make more money on your suffering.
Dr. Suarez operated on me in 2008 and 2016. He is a fantastic, caring surgeon who truly cares for his patients well being.
I dont believe the amount of money paid is important what is important is the he is the best heart surgeon in all Orlando. His skills, expertise, care and attitude are excellent. He is very professional, and very thorough, and explains is detail everything to the patient. He is pleasant and kind.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
