This is a review of the surgery, I had extensive damage in my ankle from years of injuries and I was worried about finding the right doctor to fix it. Dr Conte did an amazing job and I am extremely happy I chose him to be the surgeon to fix my ankle. 3 ligaments and 2 tendons were repaired in my ankle, I couldn’t run without a hardcore brace so I’m looking forward to the come back!

My son has had a good experience with Dr. Conte. He is very thorough and asked other specialists what they thought before he did reconstruction on my sons fallen arches. He had surgery last week and is doing ok right now. He is very nice and tries to explain everything he is doing before and after the procedure.

I tore my lisfranc ligament and fractured two metatarsals. Conte only gave me x-rays, which were negative. For five weeks, he did not give me the MRI which would have allowed a diagnosis of my injuries, but he did take the boot off my foot, so I was walking without support. At best, he was negligent. At worst, he was delaying the MRI in order to rack up appointment fees. Two and a half years later, I have pain every day and I believe it is in large part because Conte was my first foot doctor after the injury.

Dr Conte is amazing. He has given my feet and the rest of me a new lease of life! The whole office are helpful, friendly and professional. I am happy to recommend to anyone!

Dr. Conte said he suspected I had a lisfranc injury and that it might need surgery, but refrained from ordering an MRI, though he did take off the walking boot that protected my foot after the first week. Why would he refrain? It never became clear to me, though I suspect in retrospect it was to keep charging office visits and xrays. I was subsequently diagnosed with a torn lisfranc ligament and I now have pseudoarthritis and pain every day because Dr. Conte was my first foot doctor.

my husband and I had a different medicare insuarance this year,how ever this plan did not have DR.Conte on the doctors for foot care.Well this year(2017) we already changed plans to get back to see this doctor.I would recommend this doctor to anyone who is looking for a caring and knowledgable doctor. WE cannot wait until january 2017
