Lakeside Surgery Center's Online Review Report Card

First of all the waiting room is not completed or there is no flooring. 2nd, when they call your checked in name is about 150 feet away with no loudspeaker, how are you supposed to hear your name? After you are called in after a 2 hour wait, they put in the middle of a floor with patients in the middle with minimal seating. Very BAD management.

Took my my elder father to an appointment at the kissimmee location was a mess only one person at the desk A lady came to the front and had a nasty conversation with the front desk guy and miss treat another patient when she took my father to the back she got an attitude with me as well. I call her out and he got mad, by the time we finish with the appointment, CLAUDIA run outside and shout at me that I didn't know who I was messing with, that she have my number and my address, I immediately report her to Kristen Peek, who engage in an argument defending her even when Claudia admitted coming after me. This place is horrible and the employees are worse.

Great Dr and staff

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been extremely frustrating. I paid my surgery bill in full last year and have proof of payment through InstaMed, including receipts and payment confirmations. After that, I kept receiving bills, so I went to the office in person and was told that my account was “all set” and there was nothing else owed. Today, I received another phone call asking for payment again. Patients should not have to repeatedly prove that they have already paid their bills. This ongoing billing confusion has wasted my time and caused unnecessary stress. Please improve your billing system and communication between departments so that patients are not repeatedly contacted for balances that have already been resolved.

My name is Rebecca, and I brought my husband, Aníbal, to this ophthalmology office. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Our appointment in Kissimmee was canceled because their internet was down. The receptionist assured me that she would call me back to reschedule, but that never happened. During that visit, several staff members were laughing among themselves, which made me feel uncomfortable. After waiting nearly two months without hearing from anyone, I called the office myself. I was then told that someone would contact me the following Monday to schedule the appointment, but again, no one called. As a result, we had to wait almost two more months before finally being seen. When we visited the Lake Nona office, most of the staff seemed unfriendly and had poor attitudes. The only person who was genuinely kind, attentive, and professional was the doctor who treated us. She was excellent, and we truly appreciated her care. Would I return to this office? Probably not. The level of customer service was far below what I expected, especially considering the location and reputation of the practice.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! At least a 3 hour wait after your appointment. They scheduled at 10 am still waiting at 1pm. Can't eat take medication nothing after 12 am including insulin.

245 appointment and did not see a Doc until 6 pm! Unacceptable.

I did all the pre-appointments and now I can’t schedule surgery because they’re Surgery Scheduler. I don’t know what they think their job is but they don’t call you back to schedule surgery. I called the main number and the surgery schedule manager can only be reached by email they don’t take calls. The practice manager does not talk to patients. I don’t know what these people‘s jobs are if they don’t talk to patients but it’s the most frustrating thing ever you go to these appointments you wait for hours to even get seen then when you get everything done, you cannot schedule surgery such a waste of time before warrant you may get everything done, but you won’t get surgery scheduled because no one will talk to you now I have to go somewhere else and start this whole process over what a waste of time this place is

I had exceptional care from the staff. Wait time in pre-op was alittle longer than I liked. The only negative comment I have is Julie in medical clearance was very rude to me. Hung up on me several times, and when I called and left a message (3 times), she never returned my call. She has no business dealing with the public. Very disheartening. Otherwise overall a positive experience.
