Coming to Miami University I thought I might finally get some help with a difficult diagnosis. I WAS WRONG. He was rude, did not listen and I can get a better diagnosis from a website for free. His answer was I am just deteriorating, at 44 years old.

actually yelled at me for not taking a medication that I didnt need to begin with, he just gave it to me for something that was completely different from the reason that I came in. Jerk

I've been seeing Dr Patel for 15 years and I love him. Very thorough. Always caring. Explains everything. And love the staff. I feel right at home when I'm there.

the previous negative reviews are way off base. as a retired surgeon I know what a good office staff is and what makes a great md. dr patel is a true find as a old fashion md who listens, who doesn't rush you, knows his field, and has excellent credentials. I am very comfortable in highly recommending him. it was other mds who recommended him to me.

Had a great experience, Dr. Patel's Diagnosis was so accurate and his staff is very friendly & very nice. I would recommend Dr. Patel to my family members & my friends!

He was all business. Spoke aggressively and to the point. Would not allow questions and I believe is in this more for money than for helping people. Be prepared, when you visit, to play only by his rules and no other. Cash only, paperless, and make sure nothing goes wrong. Ask minimal questions and if your husband/wife comes along and they ask questions that he may have already answered he will complain. I could hear him yelling at the woman patient in the room next door. He is adverse to anything else besides his own thinking. He has heard the questions so many times that when you ask the same that he has heard time and time again he will get frustrated. But there are those like us who it is OUR FIRST TIME and need the information. He runs tests and brings you back weekly to bill your insurance. He would be a great hospital doctor - in emeregencies but not someone I would recommend for someone needing answers over a period of time. Not good personal skills and too aggressive for me.
