Complete waste of time. She was condescending and dismissive. All of her advice was something you could easily google and didn’t go further then that. We obviously saw her because nothing else was working and she wasn’t interested in what we had already tried she just kept on giving her generic advice and talking down to us.

She is supposed to be a specialist but instead of addressing the concerns me and my husband had she basically quoted cliche parenting advice to us. “Consistency is key.” “Don’t raise your voice.” All obviously things we have tried before seeing her. She couldn’t answer any specific questions and we left feeling discouraged and frustrated. Even my son felt like she was “trying to trick him into doing things”. We are very involved parent who love our son and we’re seeking solutions. She treated us like we were young and inexperienced and just needed to try harder. Save your time and money and see someone who will take time to listen to you.

Dr. Spector was rude and unprofessional in our appointment. She was unwilling to hear us out and jumped to conclusions.

Incredibly disappointed in Dr. Spector. She was condescending and didn’t listen. She gave us super generic advice like “consistency is key”. When I told her we had tried these strategies she told me I just needed to work on regulating his emotions - obviously, that’s why we came there! But then she had no advice on how to do that. Just a total waste of time and I won’t be seeing her again.
