I had eye muscle surgery three weeks ago and my results have been outstanding. I have not had any pain or discomfort at all. I was unable to drive without having traffic distorted and coming in to me but now it is perfect.

My experience was awful, the doctor was rolling his eyes to his assistant as I asked questions about my son’s diagnostic. I went to him as a self pay patient to get a second opinion. So I not only wasted time but a lot of money in the process. When I went to pay the bill, the price charged was way above the quoted by phone(I called twice to confirm). The icing on the cake was when the receptionist got the front desk supervisor named Lindsey to help. She was sarcastic, ironic and spoke to me in a very undermining tone. Refused to give me her last name and said I should have read the check in paper I was given, yet at check in the receptionist just pointed to me where to sign and date, I was trying not to delay the check in process and trusted the price I was given by phone (when I scheduled and called to confirm the appointment). Today about 2 weeks after the visit, they still haven’t emailed me the visit summary as promised. Very bad experience. Stay away.

Dr. Blumenfeld and the entire staff at Eye Physicians of Central Florida are in one word.......AMAZING!!! My 3 year old had strabismus that was VERY noticeable, we finally decided on surgery to correct it. Dr. Blumenfeld did a beautiful job, his bedside manner is great, he is patient with both parent and child, he is thorough, it is clear that he is dedicated to his patients, and he explains everything very clearly. Its only been about a week since the surgery, but I couldn’t be happier with the results. I can wholeheartedly recommend the level of care you and/or your child will receive here.

Dr. Blumenfeld is a five star doctor, kind, an expert in the field with an equally great staff and surgical center. My strabismus surgery went very well, results were immediate. He even called to see how I was doing the next day. I can’t say enough. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Blumenfeld made us feel very comfortable with my son’s eye surgery. He took the time to answer questions and was very empathetic and patient with my son. After my son’s surgery, Dr. Blumenfeld personally called me the day after to check on him. Thank you to Dr. Blumenfeld and his lovely staff!

Dr. Blumenfeld performed strabismus surgery on my son's eyes last week. From the first appointment through post-surgery, Dr. Blumenfeld takes as much time as needed for the appointments. He's very thorough on the exams and provides a complete understanding of what to expect from surgery.
