We were able to receive the diagnosis for my child’s epilepsy after we had switched from another neurologist. Dr Bello has been extremely helpful and caring.
I had bad experience with the office team and also Dr Bello Espinosa, always running and lack of time to see my daughter, team at the office is a mess they don’t take care about patients I asked Dr Bello for other alternative treatments for my daughter after try a bunch of anti- Seizures all of them giving a serious side effects to my daughter and he always talked about increasing the medication, he seems loyalty to science and pharmaceutical business. I had to look for second opinion in Saint Petersburg which it was a failure too.
Very professional and knowledgeable. Great replacement for my son who’s neurologist retired of 13 years as a patient. Thank you.
I can personally say Dr.Bello is very very professional with a lot of knowledge, He explains everything step by step and teach you while providing the care. I have seen another peds. neurologist and can’t compare them to Dr. Bello!!!!! I trust him and recommend him .
My 3 month old son started having seizures in March. After 3 admissions to Arnold Palmer, he was dismissed with cortical dysplasia and discharged into Dr. Bello-Espinoa's care for seizure management and further testing pending brain surgery after he hits 6 months old. From the start, I've had to fight with this office for anything to get done. They canceled his first appointment the night before because "an emergency came up", they canceled a second appointment when I was literally in the parking lot, again claiming some emergency showed up. They failed to submit the paperwork necessary for his insurance to approve his brain scans after MULTIPLE contacts until more than 3 weeks later giving us only a week to get on the schedule before our follow up. They never return calls. The office manager Yovanna is rude and acts like everything is a bother to her. Then finally today I got a call from Arnold Palmer's scheduling department making sure I was aware that they had to cancel my son's second brain scan because the doctor never showed up to an authorization review. There doctors office never called nor answered or returned my call. At this point, this inconsistency and constant issues with communication is directly impacting my son's ability to receive timely treatment in the way that was described to me while we were inpatient. Update: We got the scans in at the last second after this review and contacts to the heads at Arnold Palmer. Had our follow up with Dr. Bello and he told us he wanted 1 more test and would be on vacation for 3 weeks, but we would be having surgery in the month of September. We'd get dates when we did our next follow up and had test results. In the meantime, my son is still having seizures, and was hospitalized again for them last week. Today, we had a neurosurgery consult with Dr. Oliveria (also Arnold Palmer) and we presumed it would be kind of a surgery prep talk. He came in and told us he had NO IDEA WHAT WE WERE TALKING ABOUT! Last he spoke to Dr. Bello, there was no surgery planned at least for the REST OF THE YEAR! We've been making preparations, scheduling family to come in from out of state to help with our other children, etc. Dr. Oliveria said he has no clue why Dr. Bello would tell us that we were having surgery and regardless of the results of the next scan, he wouldn't be doing it at least this year until he got a new MRI in January. We went to Dr. Bello's office then (They're in the same building) where we found out that they have not bothered to follow through with sending the pediatrician his records, nor submitting his records to the other consultation Dr. Bello recommended at Chicago children's hospital. This has been an absolute comedy of errors, but they're messing with my son's LIFE! I'm contacting the VP of Arnold Palmer now. Dr. Bello might be good clinically, but his office is an absolute mess. User beware. Another Update: We've been waiting for calls from referrals that this doctor was supposed to put in back on July 9th. Never heard anything. Met with the neurosurgeon on Tuesday, within 48 hours we've been contacted by both referrals. That's proof enough for me that this doctor never actually submitted the referrals.
Dr. Bello is the best neurologist I've had. I only wish I could have continued seeing him as I got older but being a pediatric neurologist I aged out of his care. I have been trying to find someone I like as much since but have yet to find a specialist that is as thoughtful in their treatment.
Dr. Bello is absolutely fantastic. He is able to answer questions in a warm, caring manner. Dr. Bello prescribed the one drug that reduced my son's seizures from 50 per month to 8. We HIGHLY recommend him. He is a pleasure to work with.
Excellent Neurologist who takes time to listen to you
Helped out my 21 month old son. 100% recomended to all.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
