This was my first time using Macali, and all I can say is…WOW!! When I called for an emergency eye appointment, I was treated with such kindness and care. They were able to get me in within 30 minutes. Everyone on the staff that I interacted with was extremely kind. The clinic itself was immaculately clean. Doctor Claboine was wonderful. He took his time with me and was so kind every step of the way. I didn’t feel rushed or like I was “just another patient” like so many people feel when going to the doctor. I will 100% be using Macali and Dr. Claboine from here on out.

The staff and doctor were AWESOME- the getting glasses part not so much. Almost a month to get the glasses. When I picked them up and said I was unhappy it took so long and I wanted them for my vacation he could have cared less. Will not be doing glasses there again for sure.

Had been going a few years then my husband started too. They were nice enough but appointments took a while and there was awkward sales pressure at the end before they let you leave (even if you told them you’d be buying frames from Costco and to please skip sales pitch). We stuck that out bc of the location but decided to switch providers after they completely forgot about my husband after they checked him in, did the preliminary checks, and then left him in an exam room. He was polite and waited way longer than he should have before he walked out to remind them he was back there waiting and they said that had never happened before...The whole appointment took 2.5hours. They make you fill out a postcard to mail you a year later to remind you to schedule, and send a ton of texts, and leave an excessive amount of voicemails to remind you you’re due for an appointment, but when you’re in their office waiting in the exam room can forget you exist.

Great experience from checking in at the front desk to checking out! Front desk ladies were so friendly and welcoming. The tech who took me back was so sweet. The Dr. was very thorough and detailed. The opticians were so helpful with helping me pick out my new glasses. Very pleased! 5 stars!!!

I had a great experience at Macali Eye Clinic! Dr. Jordan Claboine was very thorough, professional, and efficient. My appointment was on time, and I appreciated how comprehensive the exam was while still being timely. A huge thank you to Carlos for helping me pick out my glasses! He is the only person I want helping me choose frames because he is simply the best. He has an amazing eye for finding frames that fit your face and style, and he’s always patient, honest, and makes the process fun and easy. I always leave feeling confident in my choice. I highly recommend Dr. Claboine, Carlos, and the entire team. Excellent care and outstanding customer service every visit!
