Don't call here if you're an English only speaker. I was only hold for so long and finally the person that answered only spoke Spanish. They put me on hold again to find someone that spoke English and eventually their phone system sent me to voice-mail because I had been waiting so long.

Listens to all my concerns. Very personable and compassionate

This Doctor and her staff are amazing! You feel like you are in good hands and that they care. You are a patient not a number or $. Referrals are a bummer, I agree however it’s the system not her and she is worth it!

I waited THREE months for an appointment, drove an hour to the dr office, only to be told when I arrived that they don't accept my insurance. The receptionist was non-plussed about it; she/they knew for months my insurance wouldn't work and did not even try to contact me to let me know. Worst experience I've ever had a dr's office, and I never even got to see the dr. Pure unprofessionalism. Then they responded to this review with untruths...stated they didn't know about my insurance and there was no way to communicate with me? COME ON.....they KNEW what insurance I had...they HAD to - it was listed on the dr's referral to this physician; I could not have made the appointment if they didn't have my insurance information. I called for three months inquiring about whether they'd received medical records, if there was a cancel list so I could get in early, I CALLED LAST WEEK TO VERIFY THE APPONTMENT etc., and not ONE time could they have mentioned during those multiple conversations, "oh hey, by the way, no need to go over all this because we don't accept your insurance." Would have been nice before driving an hour TO and BACK from an appointment that never happened. The worst thing is, I had to wait three months for this appointment, and I'm in worse pain than ever. I waited 3 months because I heard the doc was the best; sadly, I can't say, I've never met her. But I have met and talked with her staff and the Advent Health Group, and I can clearly state I've been treated more poorly as a patient through Advent Group than any other. If it makes this review any better, this whole lackadaisical, slipshod, CARELESS attitude of the medical staff during this one incident doesn't come as a surprise. Unfortunately, I have found that this is indicative of the new "normal" attitude of the complete FL medical system. There is no more patient first; what a shame.

Admin on 2/24/23 10:35 am did not want to make appointment even with open access Cigna plan ( no referrals needed). Dont waste your time with this office.

I was recommended this office and was VERY disappointed when I called and they told me in order to make an appointment I needed a referral. I pay extra money for an insurance plan that DOES NOT require a referral but the office said they require it for anyone to make an appointment regardless of your insurance requirements. Meaning, they set up this rule for their office no matter what. This is really disappointing as I would need to schedule an appointment with my primary, take time out of my work day to visit their office, PAY the fee of visiting their office, all so that they can give me a referral paper. This adds a huge obstacle both in time and in money. I would literally be paying by co-pay of $100 for a piece of paper from my primary. Its just absurd. If you truly care about treating patients, you cannot add more obstacles in order to get seen by a doctor.
