List of Mark Klafter's Reviews
I had gotten a referral to make an appointment with Dr. Klafter back in April 2023. When I first called, the recording informed me I would get a call back once the doctor has reviewed the referral and information. I NEVER received a call to schedule an appointment. I called and left several messages for two months and even had to talk to his secretary a few times wandering what was going on with his scheduling. I understand doctors are busy, but this was unacceptable. Call another office as it is difficult to get an appointment here.
I went to Dr. Klafter several years ago and he diagnosed me with Essential Tremors. The treatment he prescribed significantly improved my quality of life. Fast forward to 2023 and I needed to see a neurologist again. I was referred to a different doctor, as it was going to take a while to see Dr. Klafter because I had to return as a new patient. I decided I "must" see Dr. Klafter because I trust him; specifically his care and concern for his patients, his determination to be thorough with his diagnosis, his willingness to involve other specialists to confirm the diagnosis when necessary, and his desire to ensure he hears all of your concerns Thank you Dr. Klafter for who you are as a person, not just as a doctor.
Dr. Klafter may be the best doctor in the world, but many of his potential patients are not going to find out because of unprofessional behavior of his office staff, that doesn't return phone calls , but when you finally get a hold of someone, you wish you never did👎👎👎
Absolutely impressed with Dr. Klafter knowledge, dedication, attention to details and professionalism. He took all the necessary time to perform a complete check up, review of results and also took additional time to explain in detail what was going on and a action plan. What a blessing to meet him.
My family member had a referral to Dr Klafter for chronic headaches he'd been experiencing for years. Dr. Klafter reviewed his referral and said because he had facial pain another doctor would be more appropriate. The wait to see the other physician is 8 months. Cluster headaches cause severe pain on one side of the head, accompanied by symptoms such as nasal discharge, or red or tearing eyes. Exactly what my loved one has been experiencing. He went to a neurologist at Lakeland Health System, not the one to whom Dr. Klafter referred him, a couple of weeks later. This neurologist diagnosed him as having cluster headaches in one visit. Why Dr Klafter didn't recognize his symptoms as such and agree to see him makes me wonder if he is a specialist in Cluster headaches. Very disappointed.

I have been going to Dr. Klafter, for few years now. He has been treating me for Cervical Dystonia. He is very knowledgeable in what he does, very caring to his patients. Also, if he is running behind, he always come to the room and apologized. I am blessed to have him as my Neurologist. God bless him and his family.
Dr. Klafter requires a referral be submitted and then weeks after they finally say they received it, we’re told he’ll take another 2 weeks (or more who knows) to look over the referral and then he’ll decide whether or not your a good fit to be his patient. This is required before they will even schedule an appointment (which they’re currently scheduling 3-4 month/12-16 weeks out already). All the while you’re waiting to get help from a doctor and not knowing if he will even entertain the idea of helping you. No Health “care” here obviously! Dr. Klafter, either help people or don’t, don’t put people through added unnecessary stress and make them waste precious time when they could just go to another Dr if you’re not willing to help them.
It may take a while to get an appointment with Dr. Klafter, but you will be pleasantly surprised and relieved once you do! He is truly dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives that really need his care. The best doctor!!
I am a patient of Dr. Klafter, also a retired Reg. Nurse. I felt very confident in making comparison to other Doctors, in regards to: Knowledge, mannerism, "down to earth" approach to patient care, through, clear patient instructions/education .... the list goes on

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
