MIchael Cheatham's Online Review Report Card

It was amazing, from the wait time when I got there until I left. The Dr was caring, loving, humble, explained very well the procedure to be done. Honestly, would have given a 5. The only reason I gave a 4 is because the wait for my surgery is an entire month from now and the pain I am experiencing is horrendous, I can’t sleep at night, can’t lift up nothing with my left arm…thought and was hoping for it to be in a week or two. Totally understand I am not the only patient to have surgery but like I a said, just hoping it would have been sooner…just can’t wait to have surgery and be done with all this pain. But other than that they were espectacular and amazing!! Kudos to all of them at the office.

Excellent doctor but poor service at the reception they insisted that I needed a referral, my insurance does not need one I brought a referral even from doctor Yeomen Orlando health) got rejected I brought a referral from my primary doctor which was not necessary after all, I had to drive 2x from altamonte springs for nothing to this place The manager was on vacation so I talked to the assistant during my first visit I raised my concern with the nurse and she told me that she will the manager when she comes back tomorrow and I never heard from the manager My point is I am the holder of the insurance and I know the criteria why could they not have picked up the phone and verify They insisted and were so firm that I had now other way going around because I wanted to see this doctor because highly recommended and I am glad I did. My point is if you are a 5 star doctor you need 5 star employees actually i give the doctor 6 stars

3 years ago Dr. Cheatham saved my fiance's life. After getting a simple hernia and going to a doctor at the florida hospital to fix the hernia, my fiance got a flesh eating bacteria. Because of the doctors inability to act/acknowledge the issue, my fiancee was told that the tissue on his abdomen would need to be surgically removed. His doc at the time wanted to remove the tissue by carving out his stomach. This would leave him with a gaping crater on his abdomen. My fiance was deeply disturbed by this, so he was told by a friend that if anyone could fix his problem, it would be Dr. Cheatham. Thank god for this referral!! It literally saved his life. Dr. Cheatham is an expert surgeon, he removed the affected tissue and stitched his stomach back together without making a giant crater on my fiancees stomach. Because of the uncaring doctors from The Florida Hospital, my fiance won't be the same, but his life was saved by Dr. Cheatham and we are profoundly grateful to him. I noticed his reviews are on the low side, but I can guess this may be due to timeliness on appointments. But what really matters in the end is having a doctor that you can trust with your life and who knows what he is doing and has honest to god critical thinking skills!!! Thank you so much Dr. Cheatham!!
