Dr. McMahan saved my 23 weeker and followed her care daily for 5 months. He was insightful, thoughtful, caring, intelligent, kind to the nurses, considerate of mom and dad's needs and questions, and showed good judgment under stress. Were it not for Dr. M, my daughter would not have survived birth, let alone the long NICU stay. Without question, he, along with the wonderful nurses at Winnie Palmer (and with a little help from my daughter), not only saved this baby, but did so in such a way that has led to a normal life - highly unexpected given the circumstances of her birth.
