In the last year and a half we've had three visits to this outpatient facility. One for an outpatient shoulder repair where we were billed $1000 because the facility used an out of Network anesthesiologist. The anesthesiologist did not bill for a year so we didn't even know we had any bills left and then we received a bill for $1000 which if it was in Network would've been zero. We then had two family members have a colonoscopy in the last year also at this facility. The doctor was in net work the facility was in Network but the anesthesiologist again was out of network. We were billed $500 for each Colonoscopy and we're also not billed for nine months after the test was done. We were not informed that it was an out of network provider and they are now demanding payment. It is the facility that sets up the anesthesiologist so they are responsible for not using the proper provider for our services and not informing us of an out of network provider. Therefore I would not recommend them to other people and I would not use their services as they are not upfront and honest with their providers and insurance claims which leaves the customer owing large bills.
My dad had a procedure here a month ago and all the staff were wonderful and so very kind; from the check in staff to the nursing staff to the surgical team. We appreciate all their hard work and care. Special shout out to Ryan our pre and post op nurse and to the many others there. THANK YOU!!!❤️
I had a small surgery in the month of April 2022 and my experience was excellent. They attended me in my language to understand everything well, including the doctors. The punctuality, the treatment of the nurses and Drs very professional and attentive. Thank you for your care 🙏 .
Great experience from beginning to end. I have a high expectation for customer service and service deliver/efficiency. I was impressed with how seamless everything was, how quickly I was seen, how each team member transitioned me to the next, and the staff are all cheerful and go out of their way to ensure you are informed throughout the process, comfortable, and laughing along the way. Dr. Vanuno was my surgeon and he was awesome, Dr. Schreiber was my anesthesiologist and was incredible and my nurse Perla was excellent. Great job and kudos to all!
My surgeon, Dr. Conte and the resident working with him Dr. Calaj, were very personable and seemed to really care about as a person. Deborah, Christi/Kristi? and Tanya were amazing nurses. Tanya numbed me with the tiniest needle before placing my IV. I really appreciated that technique. Arnold, the nurse manager was very attentive and updated me about delays, which made the wait so much better. I was able to keep my family posted and let them come up at the right time. Dr. Schreiber, my first anesthesiologist was a hoot. He helped keep me calm and I appreciated the Tylenol before the procedure because I was already in some discomfort in the area to be operated on and was cautious to not take anything on my own. The second anesthesiologist, Oluchi, was also very personable and helpful! Everyone confirmed my correct surgery, surgical site name and DOB numerous times. I felt very safe. The staff was professional. If I needed surgery again, I would have no hesitation choosing Orlando Center for Outpatient surgery. Note, parking is super convenient and they sent instructions multiple times about check in, even with a video. I had a very good experience.
The staff was amazing from the sweetheart at the front desk up to the anesthesiologist! He was a total character, I have never experienced such an extroverted team. They were full of personality and made my experience increasingly pleasant! Who would think that surgery would be an enjoyable experience? I have been in countless hospitals and urgent care centers throughout my very young life, and never have I experienced such a clean and welcoming environment. Everybody is so kind and dedicated to getting you in as soon as possible. I don’t think I waited one minute since I walked in the door. I am very happy with my experience, and if I have to deal with another recurrence or procedure, my surgeon and this facility would be my first choice! Post-op has been a breeze so far.
The only good thing I will say about this place is the woman who answered the phone when I called for clarification on pretty much everything (don’t know her name) was super comforting and helpful. But honestly - their communication and booking schedule/system needs a complete revamp. COMPLETE. Like it’s really, really bad, you guys. They don’t even let you go upstairs to their office with your loved one. It’s like you’re sending them away on an elevator to only God knows where and you planned to be waiting for them all day in an actual waiting room. And they 100% need a waiting area that does not consist of sitting outside the entire building on wet benches :/
Fantastic staff! The nurses here were great! Professional, friendly, personable, thorough, respectful, etc. I came to this center through Orlando Orthopedic center (downtown location) and has such a bad experience with managment there that I was hesitant about my surgery w/the Outpatient Surgery center. I am glad to say I was pleasantly surprised! I had a great time. Check in and surgery was smooth. I received lots of follow up afterwards. The center itself is kind of basic in decor, but they’re clean and take care if you. 5 stars, for sure. Note: I suggest scheduling an EARLY MORNING (like 530am) surgery. They line up all the surgeries back to back, so you may be waiting a bit if you’re a person having surgery any later than 830am.
I seriously can not say enough good things about the surgery center. I received every phone call I was supposed to. The email with detailed parking and check in information was so specific. The check in assistant was very personable and was so sweet. Once I was checked in it was less then 20 mins I was pulled to go downstairs. Once I was downstairs EVERY SINGLE PERSON WAS EXCEPTIONAL!!!! I didn’t feel rushed or like another number. They are just absolutely phenomenal. During the procedure they made sure I was comfortable. The pre and post op was a breeze. Dr.Wright is outstanding. I wish every medical facility was like this one. It was very obvious every person cared about you and their job. I would recommend everyone to come here for outpt surgery.
This was a great experience as you can have when have surgery. Everything was on time from being admitted to the start and end of the procedure. The staff was very nice and helpful. My protection for covid was taken great and very well done. This was my second surgery at this location and I was very pleased with the care given.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
