I recently visited Orlando Injury Medicine and was deeply disappointed by the experience. The doctor's behavior was highly unprofessional and insensitive, particularly regarding comments about my ethnicity and skin color. He made inappropriate remarks, suggesting I was "not black enough to be Black American neither white enough to be white," which was offensive and irrelevant to my medical consultation. I sought treatment for skin tightening through laser lipo, fully understanding it was not a weight loss solution. Despite explaining this, the doctor dismissively told me that I needed to lose at least 100 pounds and disregarded the progress I had already made through my personalized nutritional plan. He aggressively promoted his own weight loss program, which was a one-size-fits-all solution, not tailored to individual needs. Moreover, he was dismissive of my concerns and goals, particularly regarding the use of laser lipo for skin tightening, and did not listen to my explanations. This lack of understanding and empathy in a medical setting is unacceptable. Despite having prepaid sessions left, I have decided not to return to this clinic. The experience was demoralizing and detrimental to my mental health. I strongly advise others to consider these factors when choosing a healthcare provider.
