The worst doctor I’ve ever been to! Waiting over an hour before seeing the doctor. The staff didn’t care at all .

Unhuman? Patient represents only $$$$$.

My two-star review reflects the lack of good communication with billing rather than an evaluation of Dr. Rahbany. I only saw her once for less than 10 minutes, so I don't have enough experience with her to make a judgment one way or another. The reason for the poor rating is a lack of communication and concern about billing. When I first contacted Dr. Rahbany's office, on the referral of my PCP, I asked if the office accepted my Florida Blue health insurance and was assured they did. My copay for a specialist is $50, which I paid on my first visit. On my second visit, I was informed that I owed an additional $107.57 that the insurance did not cover because Dr. Rahbany is out-of-network. Dr. Rahbany's office fee per visit is $300. I balked at the price as paying $157.57 for five-minute office visit is prohibitively expensive for me (and more than 200% more than my copay). I asked why I was not told that Dr, Rahbany was not in-network when I originally called to find out if they took my insurance and what the copay was, or why they didn't charge me $157.57 on my first visit. Had I known how expensive the office visit was, I would have found an endocrinologist had I known the true cost of an office visit. The woman at front desk told me that they did not know about the out-of-network charge until the billing department informed them. I asked if the charge could be reduced and was told no, but that if I wanted to cancel the current appointment, I would not be charged. So, I canceled the appointment. The communication was not only deficient but also misleading, When I first called to find out about my insurance, the office should have informed me then that Dr, Rahbany was not in my network. I thought I was doing due diligence in checking on my insurance, but now I know that I should also ask if the doctor is in-network. Ethically, however, the onus should be on the medical professionals to communicate that information. Caveat emptor. I hope my experience can save someone else from paying an outrageous fee for a short office visit.

I been a patient of Dr Rahbany for many years but honestly i can’t take it anymore, the wait is unreal 90 minutes then again in the exam room finally the Dr shows up to spend few minutes am the one who always gives suggestions about new diabetics medication she never bother to change her routine and her staff are very unprofessional never answer the phone always grouchy i finally left and found myself a great pleasant Dr without the wait and the unhappiness

Do you like waiting 2 hours for mediocre care? Then Dr. Rita is right for you! She’ll promise that her office will help you get the equipment or prescriptions you need and they’ll fall flat every single time! You are better off at literally any other Endocrinologist on Earth than wasting your time building a rapport at this office.

Due to the inability of this office to properly complete a prior authorization form for the pharmacy to issue my RX refill, the request has been denied again. After four days of talking, not yelling, with the office to resolve the issue Carrie has now informed me I was medically discharged and no longer a patient. My appt for next week was cancelled and I have no medication left to lower my blood sugar. Is this the kind of doctor's office you're looking for??"
