Dr. Kraut, M.D. replaced the vision in my left eye due to a Macular Hole. I’m totally THANKFUL for Dr. Kraut’s expertise. I can’t even begin to find the words to describe how I felt the day that I lost my eye sight and then due to Dr. Kraut, M.D. experience, in this field, was abele to restore my vision. I have been receiving eye injections for macular edema. This doctor is consistently skillful in administering them and very kind and gracious in communicating with me.

I received confident, skillful care in receiving the eye injections, and the doctor had a kind, gracious attitude while communicating.

Before finding Dr. Kraut I had 2 retinal detachments in my right eye. My first surgery was done at the Eye Institute of West Florida (Largo). The surgeon reattached my retina and used a gas to hold it in place, but 3 weeks later it detached a second time. The same surgeon reattached it again and continued using the gas although he had mentioned other doctors might use the serial buckle surgery with oil to hold the retina in place. Three weeks later in GA my retina detached for a 3rd time. I saw a surgeon in GA and he recommended the serial buckle surgery with oil. I couldn't stay in GA and found Dr Kraut in Oconee / Orlando. He was able to reattach my retina using the serial buckle surgery with silicone oil. Now 5 months later my retina is still attached and stable to the point the oil can be removed. Had I gone to Dr. Kraut the first time, I feel confident I wouldn't have had to have or pay for 3 different surgeries. I have complete trust and faith in Dr. Kraut and he didn't have the huge ego that the other surgeons had. Dr. Kraut truly appears that he does the best he can to help out the patient and not just for profit.

Dr. Kraut is very kind and professional. All-of-a-sudden I had a series of issues with my right eye. He has been very informative and clear with the steps we’ve had to take to get my vision healed. I was in pain, after surgery, on the weekend and called, what I thought was the office, but he answered the phone while on vacation with his family. Who does that any more? I was embarrassed to have interrupted his vacation but he helped me with kindness. I am blessed to have him as a retinal specialist!

Dr. Kraut used to be my opthamologist when I first moved to Orlando. The last time I saw him he wasn't himself. He was bland, gloomy, and avoided looking at me when he spoke. He put a round, firm object in my eye and pushed hard on it which really hurt. I'm just there for an exam, but he hurt me and didn't explain what he was doing and why. Then mumbled something and got up and left. When the desk person wanted to make my annual appointment for the next year, I told her I'm never coming back here again. Never again!

Excellent. He did an amazing job of repairing a macular hole in my left eye. Throughout, his demeanor was quiet, kind, calm, and confident. He saved the sight in my left eye.

Everything went well. No waiting and the doctor and technicians were very thorough.

Under care for 3 yrs. Drive over 500 miles just to see Dr Kraut. He is detailed, thorough, devoted and a perfectionist when it comes to my care. Both eyes have MD. He changes my treatment as my eyes are tested and adjusts accordingly. I feel he monitors my progress to slow the MD and give me the best quality eyesight I can achieve. His staff is also well-adverse, friendly and thorough. I will continue to drive to receive the best treatment and progress.
