I just had my 2nd visit with Dr Gold and I am so happy I was referred to him - all of a sudden I was seeing double vision and I was scared to death. From setting up the initial appointment to meeting Dr Gold and his staff everything was above excellent. I was treated like I was an old friend of theirs -they put me right at ease, did very precise procedures and Dr Gold diagnosed my problem and found a corrective solution. I never felt rushed, everyone listened to me - very rare in today's hurry up society. All the patients who I spoke to in the waiting area and who previously had Dr. Gold had nothing but praise for him - the staff's attitude with children was a 10+ . Highly recommend him!

I have been seeing Dr.Gold since I was a baby (28 years ago). He has performed 3 surgeries on me and he is the only one I trust with my eyes.

Dr. Gold performed my daughter corrective lazy eyes muscle surgery. We were happy with the result.

Dr. Robert Gold is a friendly, caring, and empathic ophthalmologist in the Orlando area. He took care of my daughter’s eye surgery needs and doubtlessly did a great job. Most importantly, he took all fears away from the teenager’s mind to get her to the surgery table by creating a rapport through talking to her on her level. Great skills as a person and as a physician. Big kudos to Dr. Gold and his team 👏👏👏

Over the last few years, I have taken my son with special needs to several different eye doctors to try to figure out what is up with his eyes. Each doctor provided a different diagnosis with a completely different solution - including invasive eye drops, patching and surgery. I never felt comfortable with any of the exams, as my son is fairly difficult to communicate with, so I kept searching for answers while his eyes worsened. I was nervous to go to Dr. Gold because of the negative reviews, but I was beyond impressed with our visit. He was very comfortable and patient with my son and for the first time ever, I felt confident he got a good reading during the exam. This is our 3rd pair of glasses, and the only ones my son has ever worn - so they actually work. Thanks Dr. Gold.

What a difference it makes to have normal vision again! I should've done it years ago. All went smoothly the day of the surgery and the recovery was just as stated - not bad at all. If I have one message it's this: listen to Dr. Gold. He knows what he's talking about.

I am a 62-year-old female and my right eye started to cross. it had gotten so bad I couldn't drive anymore due to double vision as well. My eye doctor referred me to Dr. Gold at Eye Physicians of Central Florida. The Doctor and staff were very nice and professional I am now able to see and drive again with very little down time. I want to thank them all and would highly recommend them. Thanks again Dr. Gold.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr Gold since she was a child and she continues to see him as a young adult. Her eye condition is a bit complicated and it took a few tries to find someone that could understand it. Not only did Dr Gold figure out how to address it, but he has also patiently explained the situation to us over the years. He has also performed two successful operations to correct her alignment. I am exceptionally grateful to Dr Gold for many years of wonderful care for my daughter!

I went to Dr. Gold when I was younger. He was the most disrespectful ophthalmologist I had ever visited and definitely has some type of narcissist personality or sociopathic disorder. Since when is yelling at my parents and at me normal behavior in a clinical practice? He does not even know the fundamentals principles of patient care and bed side manners. He mocked my parents and had no patience when examining me for my eye health needs. STAY AWAY from him. He is only concerned about the pocket change from your appointments not about your eye health care needs.
