Both of my daughters have seen Dr. Sutphin for five years now. They only see him once a year. Each time we see him, he remembers them both! His staff went above and beyond last month when my older daughter was applying for college in Australia. The school was concerned about accepting her as an international student because of her health issues. Dr. Sutphin's office sent them three letters in support of her attending there! They are the best!

Dr. Sutphin is the most amazing doctor i have ever encountered. He loves his patients so much it is like it hurts him when his patients are upset. I have never had a dr. be so caring. He is amazing.

Felt completely comfortable with Dr. Sutphin. He cares about my kid and wants what is best for him. Not sure who the other poster met, but he most assuredly does not put the hospital first. He's here because he cares for these kids, pure and simple.

Not certain who the other reviewer met, but Dr Sutphin is not someone who makes decisions directed in the best interest of the hospital. Dedicated and honest, this man cares about children.

Very difficult to connect with, very uncomfortable and makes decisions with the hospitals best interests in mind instead of the best interests of the childs diagnosis

He was one of the best doctors I have ever met along with his former co-workers, Dr. Eslin and Dr. Guisti. Robert was great with my daughter who had a brain tumor, compassionate with my husband and I when things were hard, and spider man for my 4 year old watching his little sister deal with cancer. If you need a pediatric oncologist, he is more than qualified, determined, and a great doctor for some very special patients.
