I think many doctors can come across arrogant and aloof. As a patient, I have experienced physicians who are disengaged and rush through appointments. Doctors who don’t seem to care or connect. Dr Bhatheja is NOT one of those doctors. He is one of the rare physicians who take their time to connect and really check in during your appointment. He is very kind AND very competent. I’m so grateful to have him as my cardiologist.

He was treating my 80+year old mother, who had a stroke caused by poor post-surgery care for cancer. He wanted a test done requiring her to be sedated, which is dangerous for her and would hinder her stroke recovery. When I asked why, it was to decide if they would continue a medication they had prescribed. Her primary said they would recommend continuing the same medication for the rest of her life anyway to help prevent another stroke. I asked why the prescription could not just be transferred to the primary- he acted as if I was questioning his supreme judgment, was dismissive and rude. I asked the primary- they said yes, had he called they would have just taken over the prescription and recommended against the test and sedation. Needless to say, my mother will not be seeing this doctor again.

I was honored to be able to be seen by Dr. Bhatheja. He is very aware, and allows any questions to be asked. He gives the utmost honesty and I am glad to have crossed paths with him. I look forward to further treatment and more visits!

After causing a tragic outcome he was cold, condescending and arrogant. He showed no remorse and the gross suffering and pain and loss of life was avoidable and he could not have cared less.

Rohit Bhatheja is a Horrible doctor doesn’t care about anybody but himself. Doesn’t return calls, tells you to find another doctor during a visit. Even my primary doctor couldn’t get a hold of him I was going to ask him questions. My primary says he was unprofessional. He need too lose his license.
