After getting so many recommendations for Dr. Alvi over the years, I finally decided to see her about my thyroid disorder, and I truly regret not going sooner. Dr. Alvi is one of the most thorough + compassionate doctors I have ever met. She genuinely cares about you as a whole, not just from an endocrine scope. She’s smart, experienced, personable, responsive, calming, and has been helping me get back to my health. She’s speaks to you and really listens to your needs like a good friend, which is often rare in the medical world. I trust her with any of my health needs, and I know everyone who meets her will/has felt the same. Although living with a thyroid disorder is difficult at times, I feel good + safe knowing Dr. Alvi is part of my healthcare team. I can’t praise her or thank her enough.

Dr. Alvi is a fantastic doctor. I am a type 1 diabetic and instead of just focusing on insulin dosage she put an emphasis on dietary changes. She walked me through the science of how foods affect my blood sugars and gave me personalized recommendations on how I can change my diet to improve the control of my blood sugars. Her recommendations have not just improved my A1c but also my overall health. She's direct, to the point, and explains things very clearly. She listens closely and understands the problems that I tell her and provides detailed guidance in response. She also remembers my specific issues and even after several months it feels like no time has passed between appointments because she follows up on minor details, and nothing gets lost with her. Overall Dr. Alvi has had a huge positive impact on my health and I highly recommend her to anyone in search of an endocrinologist.

Dr Alvi was amazing she heard all my concerns and took her time with me . She made a plan to get me back to my health I am forever grateful. Also the staff was friendly, professional and service was beyond my expectation .

I've been seeing Dr Alvi for a year for hypothyroidism and I appreciate her individualized approaches to each patient and that she views the body as a whole. Easy to talk to too.

I have visited several Doctors in the area for my hypothyroidism. Dr. Alvi is the only doctor that will take her time to thoroughly explain my disease and any questions I have regarding it. She does thorough and routine bloodwork to make sure I am healthy in other areas as well not just my thyroid. Dr. Alvi is very responsive through the patient portal which I am blown away by. Other doctors are near impossible to see, never mind have them respond to a message or question I may have in a timely manner. Dr. Alvi stresses the importance of a whole food plant based diet and getting enough exercise. Do not waste your time or money with other doctors. Call Dr. Alvi today! She's awesome! Very thorough and easy to talk to. I started my first visit in May with a 250 blood sugar every night and couldn't tackle it. She put me on ozempic and immediately seen a difference within the week and it suppressed my appetite and it took the cravings of sweets (cheesecake) away to a low minimum. She advised a diet and exercise. I took her advice and worked hard to achieve better health. My A1C was 12.1 in May and in August it was 7.8. I'm so grateful for her, she helped me tremendously and she really cares about my health. This is my testimony of grace. She follows up and she was so caring. I'm so excited that she's my doctor. She said she was so proud of me. And to think I was hesitant to see an endocrinologist. I was trying to do it on my own and I wasn't successful. She tackled my issues and easily prescribed Ozempic and adjusted my other insulin and look I'm now a 7.8 from 12.1 A1C in 3 months!! I'm so thankful to God that he led me to Dr. Alvi.

Dr. Alvi is a wonderful endocrinologist. She is patient and takes her time getting to know you and really digs deep to understand your health issues. She has amazing recall and can remember personal details from prior conversations. I feel heard and understood. I feel I have a doctor who is on my side...truly invested in my healing, physically and mentally. Dr. Alvi sees the whole of her patients and knows healing happens by focusing on lifestyle and not just on one gland or issue. I feel blessed and grateful to have found a dedicated and caring doctor like Dr Alvi. Wholeheartedly recommend!

I have never met a doctor that celebrates your improvements with you. Dr. Alvi changed my life in a matter of a few months by simply recommending healthy nutrition, a new way of eating, but not just that, she levels with you to make sure you understand the why of it all. i met dr alvi in february 2020,for my diabetes,she explained to me the benefits of a plant based diet, my weight at that time was 212 lbs,now in july 2020 i'm @ 194,i'm 95% vegan,stop taking anreducing some of the medications,i feel better than ever my average blood glucose is @ 100,i'm so glad i met dr alvi she's my angel very professional and caring to the extreme,thank you dr alvi.
