I had a great experience as a new patient at this facility. I was seen in less than 15 minutes, where the staff was kind, receptive and professional. I had many questions and they patiently answered each one. At one point, I had difficulty tolerating the process due to discomfort with anything being near my eyes, but they were very accommodating and patient until I calmed down. Even though they were not required to do anything of that nature, they still had compassion even though I felt embarrassment for the way I responded. My doctor was highly knowledgeable, appropriate, at times demonstrating warmth and humor into what made the appointment feel more lighthearted. Upon choosing my glasses, all of my questions were answered again without haste and they seemed pleased to service me in any way they could. They were upfront about costs and coverage throughout the process and notified me as soon as the glasses were ready for pickup. High quality, efficient service.

They have no customer service. I felt twice. The receptionist always on the phone For longest conversations to attract more business ( I can understand) but never acknowledges any person walking in and standing for a long time. She pretends like she is in different room alone on the phone. Others are ready to go on a break releasing each other. Most restaurants provide better service when you enter and definitely they don’t make you wait more than 2-3 minutes in worse case without acknowledging you are waiting. It was not busy or I can understand but they have lousy team. I hate to go there so my last visit.

We had our basketball team from KY in Orlando for a tournament this past week and weekend and one of our players received a significant eye injury during a game. We took him to Southwest Orlando Eye Care and Dr. Marx and Dr. Nevada, along with their team, were awesome. They prescribed several eye drops, eye shield, and suggested some preventative care. We had to make 4 different visits (all worth the trips) while in Orlando so they could monitor the eye and ensure it did not get worse and was healing properly. They were very thorough and communicated with our player's eye doctor back in KY. If you you are in Orlando, and have an eye issue (which I hope you don't), I would highly recommend Dr. Marx and Dr. Nevada and their team at Southwest Orlando Eye Care! 5 !
