I called to schedule an appt after I kept receiving messages that a visit was overdue. Tried making an appt after checking with my new insurance. My experience with Frederick was not too pleasant. Found him to be quite rude, in fact. Will seek another appt with a different office even though the doctor here was a referral from my PCP.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nair at Waterford Lakes Eye Care for almost six years and have always trusted his care. About three months ago, I had an eye exam and purchased new glasses based on the prescription he provided. Unfortunately, I have been unable to see clearly up close with these glasses. When I contacted the office to explain the issue and request that my prescription be rechecked, I was told that I would need to pay out of pocket for an entirely new exam. No effort was made to review the original prescription, schedule a follow-up evaluation, or offer any reasonable solution. The only option presented was to pay for another appointment. After being a loyal patient for nearly six years, I found this response extremely disappointing. Good patient care should include standing behind your work and addressing concerns when a patient is having difficulty with a prescription shortly after an exam. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to carefully consider their options when choosing an eye doctor. Customer service and patient care matter just as much as the exam itself.
