Yelena Atlanova's Online Review Report Card

My whole family goes to her, we had 5 kids with her all together! She is great physician and a nice person. She will be there for you when you needed. She is very responsible and really always wants to help.

Dr. Atlanova is very rude and unprofessional. To add she is not very good doctor. Wife was upset after seeing her for days. My wife does not write reviews, so I have no choice and must let everyone know.

I am writing this email while waiting in the ER. I saw Dr. Yelena for a consultation regarding fibroids. I was very weak and anemic from the severe blood loss.. She prescribed medication to treat it and failed. I am now very anemic and might need a blood transfusion due to her incompetence. And the worst part? I called her office and she was out. They assured me the on call "doctor" would call me. Guess what? That never happened. Very disappointed I wasted my time and money with these office. Stay clear unless you want to receive poor service.!

Dr. Atlanova is a very nice doctor. She treated me for a while but my condition was re-occurring. I had a hysterectomy that got infected, and after that my digestive system has never been the same. Further my test kept coming back positive and I requested a more aggressive treatment. She told me everything was fine and I could just "wait" wait for what? cells to turn into cancer and spread through my body? -- I told her I was going to seek a 2nd opinion to an oncologist and I am glad I did. The treatment was immediate and way more aggressive. In the process I received a letter that i had been "dropped" as a patient for going to see an oncologist specialist. I did complete the Chemo and when I was finished and released and try to go back to an ob near my home they are all run by the same organization. They would not take my appointment because I had been "dropped". No one read my file. I was treated like a 2nd class citizen by an incompetent receptionist making decisions above her pay grade. I had to scramble to get a new doctor. Shame on you. Shame on the untrained call center. If my botched surgery was not malpractice this is. I should have the freedom to seek higher care if I don't feel I am getting the best care and for the record my instincts were not wrong. Had I waited I would have been much worst off. I am very disappointing with this Group of physicians and would never recommend them.

Dr. Atlanova was my OB when I got pregnant with my first child. I saw her for the majority of my visits and when the time came, she ended up being at my side for labor and delivery. She has the absolute best presence about her. She's calming and reassuring when you're a first time Mother who's anxious and nervous about everything. I moved away for a few years and she was no longer at the practice when I returned to Orlando. I ended up with a different OB for my second pregnancy and the experience just wasn't the same. When I began feeling symptoms that something could be "wrong" I knew I wanted Dr. Atlanova and the knowledge she posses to help me out again. I found her at a new practice and am SO happy I did. After nearly 9 years she still remembered me! She's the best OB and makes what can be considered an uncomfortable Dr. visit a pleasant experience. I can't recommend her enough.

I basically had to demand another ultrasound which showed they doubled in size. She still didn't want to do anything I came to that appointment wanting to discuss all treatment options since it was impacting my life negatively. She basically brushed me off and said I can try a new birth control if I really wanted to. Finding a new doctor was the best thing I did for my health
