Zakir Shaikh's Online Review Report Card

My daughter and myself have had all of our wisdom teeth removed at another practice, and brought my husband for a consultation. Dr. Sheikh was professional, BUT his staff was NOT. The lady that schedules and handles insurance was annoyed when she gave us the grand total of over $9800!! When we tried to determine what was priority, and asked for pricing, she seemed annoyed when she had to “re-do” the estimate and print it out!! She wasn’t the least bit helpful. She seemed annoyed at having to punch numbers and calculate for us. That’s a lot of money to drop at once, especially most of it being cosmetic. We ultimately decided to ask our dentist to refer us to the practice i went to, and it took over 3 weeks and 4 calls to get our refund of the deposit, and no explanation on why it wasn’t refunded in full. That portion was supposedly handled by “Julie, the office manager”, that I never had the pleasure of speaking to. I’d say this practice needs to definitely work on customer service!! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

He did both of my teeth implants & did an awesome job. He has a great bedside manner too. I tell everyone how great he is. My friend went to him later, and he thought the doctor did a superior job too. Thanks.

I was a bit nervous about having all 4 wisdom teeth removed, plus a couple of torn from my lower jawbone, especially since so many people told me their stories of pain and being out of commission for several days. I didn't have to worry at all! Dr. Shaikh and the staff took good care of me, and I was back working the very next day. No pain, and barely any swelling. I highly recommend their practice. Recently my daughter had 4 of her wisdom teeth removed and I am impressed with the professionalism and skills of Dr. Zakir Shaikh. He is knowledgeable, courteous, and has one of the best, if not, the best bed side manners ever!! He takes the time to explain EVERYTHING, allows you to ask questions, and has such a calming effect. This is the second time I’ve used his service. My daughter had all 4 teeth extracted in less than 15 minutes... No lie!!! I couldn’t believe it my self and in less than 2 hours we were back to shopping. I have no clue how he does it, but he is definitely the best oral surgeon. Humble and down to earth. Kudos to his staff! Customer service at its best and Dr. Shaikh definitely leads by example!!!!

It was during the Christmas Season when I had an emergency, and my tooth needed to be extracted. My regular dentist was closed, but their office was kind enough to refer me to Zakir Shaikh at Orofacial & Dental Implant Surgery. The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. Keep in mind not only was I a new patient, but also a 'Surprise' during a tight Holiday schedule. Doctor Shaikh was painless in technique and quick with his work and I will return there to have my implant put in.

I highly recommend Dr. Shaikh and Orofacial & Dental Implant Surgery for any kind of oral/dental surgery. My son had his wisdom teeth removed and Dr. Shaikh’s expertise, care, compassion, thoroughness, patience, and professionalism is outstanding. The procedure and recovery went so smoothly. I have relatives that have had dental surgery by Dr. Shaikh, and they also can’t say enough great things about him. The entire staff was amazing. I would recommend this outstanding practice to anyone.

All my information was sent over to them and they agreed to see me at 11AM that morning. The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. Keep in mind not only was I a new patient, but also a 'Surprise' during a tight Holiday schedule. They made me feel comfortable even though my pain was excruciating, causing me a sleepless night prior to my visit. Doctor Shaikh was painless in technique and quick with his work and I will return there to have my implant put in. In no time that tooth was extracted and I now have found another Dentist that is painless like my Doctor Nadia. I can now go into 2018 pain free. Blessings to all for the New Year, and thanks to the lady I met there who came as a patient herself, who was there with her family but still offered to pray me through my experience.

Years ago I had a minor cosmetic surgery unrelated to dental. In 2017 I interviewed three oral surgeons for a bone graph/implant. I chose Dr. Zakir Shaikh because he seemed very confident in his ability to get the job done and he did a good job explaining to me exactly what he was going to do. It is been one month since my bone graft and so far so good! I’m looking forward to getting my implant done early in 2018. Will keep you posted!

Dr Shaikh and his amazing attentive team at Orofacial & Dental Implant at Waterford Lakes did a great job calming me before my implant procedure. No issues... Healing great!!
