Arjun Aneja's Online Review Report Card

Couldn't get past the receptionist who called to make an appointment. It took three calls but we finally found a pulmonologist who's receptionist got us to the right person to answer a question. The others either left it at "I don't know" or "have you tried the internet." It was a pulmonology question that doesn't need a copay to answer. Thanks to the office who answered our question. No thanks to the receptionist at Aneja's office.

I waited over 6 months to leave this review. Dr Arun Aneja has zero bedside manner. I gave him a few visits to see if he was just having a bad day. Unfortunately he’s a nasty person with a chip on his shoulder. Was quite rude and curt in his communication with me. He will talk down to you each and every time. Cut you off while you’re replying to a question of his and is quick to dismiss any concerns. I spoke to his wife (office manager) about his bad behavior and she was well aware of his toxicity and just offered an apology. Don’t go to him if you have any self respect. He should NOT be a doctor.

Very thorough exam and very knowledgeable. Doesn’t just automatically use the “routine” antibiotics and steroids for which I was thankful. I’m improving after one visit from 6 months of breathing issues.

The worst doctor I have ever had in my past 50 years. He is totally incompetent and is only out for your money. I could go on with more details, but I won't waste my time on him.

Has good bed side manner. He was seeing my spouse. he spoke the truthHe's honest and caring. He took the precautions needed to ensure my husband had a safe surgery and to let me know exactly what is going on andthe odds. He's the most honest doctor I've. cone across. Thank you

Very incompetent doctor. Had me coming back every 3 months for what. Nothing was wrong. Had me take a breathing test, but did not take the time to explain the test or answer my questions. But wanted me to come back for a follow up. Of what,???????? It is obvious that I was seen for financial gain only. Will not go back and will a better check of the doctor's going forward. Such a waste of time.

The doctor and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Aneja is the person that found a small nodule in my lung and followed it for about a year. He i s extremely knowledgeable and proper. He takes the time to explain the situation to you and is open to all your questions. He is diligent on follow up appointments . I recommend him without a question.

He almost killed me. Their office is extremely out of date, they apparently don’t even have an email. It was small and dirty and the other patients reeked of diarrhea and their conversations confirmed what I was smelling. The waiting room was just a cramped breeding ground for germs. Their scale was almost 15 lbs off (confirmed by my at home scale and the scale at my primary care doctors). When I explained my medical situation to him he laughed in my face and told me to lose weight. I have suffered with asthma since infancy and experience asthma exacerbation when I have a respiratory infection. He refused to give me antibiotics or steroids. I ended up having to seek emergency medical attention, which is way more costly, to get steroid shots after getting to the point where my lungs snapped shut completely. He also pushed an allergy control drug (symbicort) on me that I have tried before and experienced adverse side effects, the kind they tell you to stop taking if you experience, and he said well try it again. After reading other reviews I see that has tried to push this drug symbicort on other patients who didn’t want it too, despite it being HORRIBLE! I’m guessing he has a contract with them. He also tried to tell me that prednisone (a steroid) doesn’t make you gain weight. Google it, it very clearly says it can be a side effect and to talk with your doctor if you experience it. I have been prescribed prednisone for asthma exacerbation since age 12, and I am 25 now, so I am quite familiar with how it works and how it effects me. It also is pretty common “medical” sense that side effects will be different for every patient because everybody is different. He also didn’t perform any breathing tests, his office did not even appear to have the machinery, which is a huge red flag. He is rude, obviously not knowledgeable about his own practice, extremely out of date, and most of all; UNPROFESSIONAL!!!After reading other reviews I can honestly agree, his office feels like a third world country. And to the patient who ended up with neglected lung cancer, YOU SHOULD SUE HIM FOR MALPRACTICE ASAP! Before your window closes. Absolutely horrible, I don’t know how he has a license, he’s going to kill people if he hasn’t already. He is dangerous as a doctor, stay very far away!

Dr Arjun is very responsive and caring. I’ve been seeing him for about two years and do recommend him.
