She was kind and seemed thorough during my appointment, but later discovered she should have done some more labs before coming to any conclusions. She also did a very brief physical exam but documented she did a full exam of all/most joints in my body. She didn’t seem to really listen to what I told her, or had poor record keeping. I provided her many important details, history and symptoms, but most were missing from her records. I had some positive or abnormal lab results, but she told me they were “false positive” and didn’t think any further work up was needed even though I had many unexplained symptoms suggesting I in fact had the condition I was supposedly “false positive” for. Don’t feel very confident in anything she told me.

Have been seeing Dr Otero for several months now and absolutely love her. She is the best specialist I've seen since stating the medical journey. She is so sweet and knowledgeable. She listened and understood my concerns. She is always very pleasant. I trust her with my life.

I saw Dr. Otero for a second opinion, and immediately felt at ease and comfortable with her. She spent time thoroughly listening to me, examining and reviewing my medical history (which I brought with me). During that visit, I immediately began seeing her as my primary Rheumatologist.

My husband saw 26 doctors before we found Dr Otero. She listened to him and asked some questions. Had him diagnosed within an hour. Adult onset Stills disease. We love her. So happy we found a doctor that could treat him. She is sweet, kind, and compassionate.

Excellent I've been seen her for close to 2 years from day one always listen take her time answering all my questions and concerns.

She was very rude to me, cold and unfriendly. She didn’t smile once. she kept on asking me the same questions like she wasn’t paying attention to my answers. I did not feel comfortable with her at all. She didn’t give a firm handshake like she was afraid to touch my hands. It got worse when she proceeded to do a physical exam. She didn’t want to touch my body. It doesn’t seem like she’s being a doctor for the right reasons. The appointment was a waste of my time and money. I would not recommend

Dr. Otero was rude, cold and could not be bothered with actually listening to a patient. I mean, it's my body and I've been dealing with these symptoms for years, but she doesn't need to know all that. She spent two minutes poking me in different places asking if it hurt, had me squeeze her fingers, listened to my breathing and that told her all she needed to know about what's wrong with me. Apparently all the work my primary doc did to warrant seeing a Rheumy doc didn't mean anything. Useless!
