I was a patient of hers for years. She was one of the best psychiatrists I ever had (I've had several from two different states). She showed great concern for my well being; and I've experienced a number of trying events while under her care. Dr. Wylie is easy and enjoyable to talk to. I always felt she was very trustworthy, honest and straightforward. Her staff member is great; always friendly and helpful. For me, the only down side is that Medicare is not accepted.

I love Dr Wylie. I never was pushed into medication of any kind. She listens, doesn't judge, welcoming & her office environment is homey & friendly. I don't need to visit her anymore, but I went to her for years for depression. My family Physician takes care of that for me now. ?

I went to her for years.put simply, she's a pill pusher and nothing more. I don't know WHAT these psychiatrists are going to do anymore now that they're scared of writing scrips for narcotics.i guess there's always "anti depressants" which do nothing to make you any "happier" and come with a slew of bad side effects.and get "secretary" is totally unprofessional,rude,won't deliver messages, hangs up on you like you're a robot caller not a patient.good luck!

Dr. Wylie is a wonderful Doctor. She is well informed in the area of psychiatry. She makes each of her patients feel special to her.

My purpose for the visit was to find an alternative medication to lamotragine due to side effects. Itake 200mg a day. she gave me an RX for depakote, 500mg a day with no warning of possible ill effects. For the next several days I was very sick and when I called, she was out of town and didn't get back for at least two days. I went ahead and quit the depakote since I was throwing up. I felt her response was tepid at best. I would have liked more information on what to look out for (since I had to go online to find out), a quicker response to this concern and more concernin general. Other than that I liked her. She spent quite a lot of time with me, more than I expected by far, and seemed really interested.

Dr. Wylie is one of the best psychiatrist/counselor I have encountered in a very long time. She is incredibly insightful and wise in her counsel. She doesn't simply dispense medications; she actually does some counseling. I recommend her.
