David Mcdonald's Online Review Report Card

I will have another stroke before I ever see this doctor again. His next appt. is in October of 2024. a year away. He should put his existing patients first and not make them wait a year. Three months waiting is long enough. I am now calling and trying to find another doctor. This doctor is greedy and could care less about his paients. I will not see a nurse practentioner

Very good experience with this office. Dr. Mcdonald was caring and thorough.

This “doctor” should not be allowed to care for animals, much less humans.

This doctor is absolutely the worst of humankind. Please don't allow him near you or your loved ones.

I do not advice people to make an appointment with this doctor. He sees you only one time then you only see nurse practitioners never the doctor again. Worst place I have ever been too!

I have never had such a terrible experience with a doctor. I'm not sure if Dr. McDonald purposely over schedules or is just too focused on getting patients in and out of his office to care about their actual wellbeing. It appears that his office will put profits over anything else - scheduling unnecessary and expensive appointments and tests without meeting or discussing with the actual patient. He spent less than 5 minutes in the room with me and brushed off my concerns. There is no follow up by McDonald or reasoning behind his decisions. There is no way to get a hold of the doctor or to schedule timely appointments. When calling their office, it goes to voicemail and can take hours to reach scheduling. Follow up appointments that are prescribed for 6 weeks out actually take 3-4 months. It is no surprise that everyone in the office is visibly stressed.

This man needs to lose his license. Too many infractions to list. Stay away.

My wife went with me to my appointment with McDonald to try and get to the bottom of the pain I have had for over a year. When I questioned him about the continued pain, McDonald shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t know” sarcastically and laughed. My wife then commented “this isn’t funny”. The examine went on and it was very clear by my wife’s facial expressions that we weren’t getting anywhere. McDonald then says to my wife “you’re being very rude to me” and she replied, “well, so are you”. Oh, he also took 3 or 4 what I think were personal phone calls. There was no sympathy, only him comparing his pain to mine. Don’t even get me started on the horrible phone system they have and that they make no effort to change.

Multiple unanswered calls and voicemails to the office to reschedule a follow for almost 4 months. Yet, received a bill to set up continued payments on a previous payment plan for an MRI performed in the office versus in a hospital that would have been cheaper. Continue to call, nothing. Have reached out to PCP and they’re being ignored too. Awful. Prescriptions not being refilled, copayments on script over $250. Nobody to talk to about anything. Have to stop medications, ask PCP to continue 1. Zero respect for patient, zero advocacy, zero follow up on their part. 3 plus months and nobody can return a call? Continue to leave voicemails, are they just being deleted? Don’t bother driving to this office. Oh, and I’m a registered nurse. What does that say?
