Enas Iskander's Online Review Report Card

We loved Dr Iskander. Both my boys saw her from birth. We were sad and frustrated that she just up and left without notice. Kathy at the front desk is AMAZING and helped guide us to find a new pediatrician in the same network. I wish we could take Kathy with us!!

We loved Dr Iskander! She has been a great pediatrician to our children. However I’ve called multiple times this summer to set an appointment for our son with ZERO response and find out she is gone and opening another practice in another area. I checked Halifax Health website and she is no longer listed as a Dr. It’s disappointing that we didn’t receive an email, phone call or text.

I dont think anyone works there tried calling for days left messages no call back.

Rude office staff !

I very much enjoyed developing a relationship with Dr. Iskander, however I was appalled when I called today to make an appointment for my daughter who is ill. They no longer accept my insurance and instead of reaching out to me directly (my daughter has been seeing her since she was a newborn- she is almost 9) they just assumed we had been notified… they can’t even send their own letter or leave an automated message? So much for that great relationship and sense of trust I thought we had. Truly thought we were more than just a copay….

Best pediatrician and the receptionist. Kathy is absolutely amazing. She’s quick efficient. Best receptionist there is !

We really like Dr Iskander, our baby was in the NICU for a bit and she’s been nothing but great with our baby and had taken her previous conditions into consideration. She’s very knowledgeable and makes us feel comfortable with our baby’s health, we’ve also saw two different nurses there and they were also great with us as well!

Dr. Iskander herself is a wonderful pediatrician - helpful, kind, patient. Unfortunately her receptionist Cathy is an entirely different story. At our first appointment when my son was ~5 days old, she demanded that we unzip his car seat cover “so she could see the new babyyyyy!” Being that it is currently a record flu/Covid/RSV season, we declined. On our way out the door after making our next appointment, she emphatically told us, “next time I’m going to get a look at that baby!” despite the fact that we made it very clear we weren’t comfortable taking him out and were double masked, etc. (However, Dr. Iskander and the nurse both asked us if we would prefer them to wear a mask and were very respectful of our choice!!) With this delightful interaction aside, I’m currently being billed for over $600 in visits because of an error the office has made in filing these claims with our insurance. My insurance has tried to call the office directly and no one answers the phone. My insurance also has told me that these claims were never filed, so they cannot be paid. When calling to resolve the issue, Cathy immediately insisted that the claims weren’t paid because their office no longer accepts Cigna, which is true, but was not the case on the date of the visits. Resolving this issue is not something I want to take on as a new mom, and it should have been resolved by the office itself.

Dr. Iskander is the best pediatrician we could have asked for our baby boy! She’s very good at explaining everything, and we love the fact that she works with natural medicine before prescribing antibiotics!!

Worst doctor ever! Put her feelings for herself before her patients. She has no business seeing patients. Please don’t take your children to see her!
