List of Gordon Jones's Reviews
The office experience is much like a cattle call. Smug staff that clearly are unsatisfied with their workplace. Let the tech know I sometimes faint or get very lightheaded during blood draws so lying down is preferred. They were very annoyed they had to clear an exam room to accommodate though I had called prior to ensure that was an available method (I could have gone to Quest). The draw was particularly painful. Dr Jones seems to be stretched thin as he was in and out of the room during our visit. Felt inattentive and glossed over my symptoms of hypothyroidism, stating “just lose weight, come back in six months.” It was later confirmed through another Dr indeed, hypothyroidism. It’s not a “fun” experience to go to the doctor, but this environments makes it far worst. If you have options for a PCP, avoid this one.
One of the most frustrating doctors I have ever had the misfortune of being a patient of in my 36 years on this planet. Constantly makes you come in for appointments just so they can charge your insurance over and over. Pushy, and constantly trying to get me onto different medications or into studies (pushy to the point that I feel like there has to be a kickback he is receiving). Takes forever to sign off to fill the one prescription that I do have to take daily (which I have been on for nine years now with zero issues) to the point of having to sometimes ration while waiting days for him to simply sign off on refill. (for those asking why don’t I just request my refill earlier, he has a policy that you must be at 10% of your prescription left before you can request a refill. Because he will only prescribe me a 30 day script, that only gives me 3 days, and yes, he has taken longer than that to sign off on a refill). Find a different PCP, you don’t want the headache.
The Best!!!
Dr. Jones is one of the best doctors I have seen in the area. Love him and highly recommend. He looks into all of your medical history. Really, he leaves nothing out. Very thorough in his job and never rushes a visit. Doctors like this are hard to find. So glad to have found him. Thank you doc!
Dr. Gordon Jones is the worst doctor ever, he’s rude and unprofessional. Upon entering the room he asked why I was there, I mentioned that he used to be my primary a long time ago. He immediately started being rude, asked why I had switched and what made me think he would even take me back, then asked how I got in there (into the room). I said I made an appointment and I started going to the VA full time and then my doctor there died. I asked him if he was kidding and he said no, he was serious, and in fact he didn’t have to accept me as a patient. He then asked what my symptoms were while I was still in shock and I started to give him the list and he stopped me at the first one and told me to be quiet. He was obviously mad at me and not the least bit concerned about my welfare so I excused myself and left. I told the front desk that he wasn’t going to work out for me and they told me not to worry about the copay. At least the office staff is great.
Awesome, the doctors here probably saved my life with good common sense medicine.
Terrible doctor.
Spent time with me and didn't rush the visit. Listened to my concerns and help me take care of the issues I was having. This is the best Dr i have seen in years ! Dr Jones is by far the best dr
He listens. Staff efficient and friendly. Never a long wait time.
I use the urgent care at this location and it's number 1 on the best medical scenarios I have come across.I appreciate the ability to walk in anytime or get appointments easily anytime you need them. Dr. Nipper is one of the best doctors I've ever known.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
